Keyboard on laptop stops working

Since the new patch the keyboard on the laptop randomly stops working.
Even when quiting the game it fails to function i have to restart windows.
Its definately being caused by PWI as it runs all day when not playing the game.
Dell Inspiration runing windows 7.
