No, it's a waste. More damage is better, to kill mobs faster so they won't reach you. You can always add HP to your gear after lvl70-80. I just kite on my Wiz and works well so far (pure mag) (:

He is on a pvp server not pve so i would add a little if i was you but cap it at 50 so you don't mess up your damage 2 much. and if you ever make 100 and get nice gear you can easily survive the pure magic build but with sin and the +30 att lvl blessings pure magic might be way 2 squishy now without OP gear. i went pure magic till 94 tho so might want to see if another wiz that has played b4 they made it so you can go from 1-100 in 2 weeks for more help about lvling with the vit build in the lower lvls

and i just restated to the 50 vit build a few days ago helped alot in pvp and i dont realy notice much damage missing pve took maby 300-500 off at most which is nothing at 90+

50 vit is the magical barrier of failure
    b:shocked

i heard of different (hi lvl) experimental builds:
sticking to pure but adding a lot of str to wear the warsoul helmet and refine it high
since helmets add more hp and the warsoul helmet has a high gear lvl this could add more hp..
(the mana-depending lvl 100 skills sucks, so thats not a factor, pot cost increases though)
    i like potato

Sorry bro but no lets say with just the helms the warsoul would be about the same as a nirvanna helm with 50 vit and you have more points for magic and if you can afford high refines i would rather go pure magic and watch people drop in tw but all of this comes down to how much money you have and look at his lvl dont realy think he can afford to buy a warsoul and refine it high anytime soon that build might be a little cheaper thow because 20mil for the helm is not so bad but over all its not better then haveing 50 vit
