weap quests

i have a quick question. do we get weap quests like the tideborn or no?b:surrender

    Errr, there are quests that give you weapons, [IIRC, but I'm just referring to quests like the one where you get Bow of the Goddess... etc..] but Tideborns have their own specific weapon... for a specific quest....


    I'm not very sure on how to answer this question...

    if you're talking about the "weapon token" quests, then no, only tideborn get anything like those. unfortunately; i think they're a really neat feature that could be extended to the other classes.

    When they added the Tideborn they didn't want to mess with the drops from the existing bosses, so instead of getting weapon molds from bosses, they gave them one 50% shot at a weapon mold every ten levels. So, Tideborn have a better chance at getting a weapon mold, but only a single shot at it, while the other races have a worse chance, but multiple shots at weapon molds. Roughly speaking, it more-or-less evens out.

    Not really, considering the hand me down aspect. They have a 50% chance to get a weapon for free. We have a 1% chance for free considering squads and random drops. Single shot would only apply if the weapon was untradeable, which it is not.
