FC venomancer roles

hey guys,

ive done FC plenty of times on the pw-my server, but with a golem.

now I am that level to do FC on here, but with herc instead.

versions are different, so running FC is probably different here too.

Besides the usual amp, chi passing, keep bramble on melee, such and such, what things does a veno need to do specifically in a FC party?

is it ok to let people know to ASK you to pass chi, so you may get to use some chi yourself?

should we keep bramble ONLY on melees, and not give to say, wizzys and psychics? what about assassins (since they can steal aggro often)?

the most i want to know is, what things does a veno with a herc need to do differently than a veno with out a herc? what does a veno with a herc need to have her pet do?

thanks for answers ^^ i just dont want to go into FC totally clueless on what i need to do differently, or if i do something wrong because im used to doing it a different way.

This is what I personally do. Not to use chi myself, but I keep it incase people need it.

I would definitely only put Bramble on melee classes, excluding Sins. [Personally.]

Never played a Veno in FCC, only a Cleric, so I can't answer this for you.

When I've been, I've mainly been wanted to pass sparks to keep the rolling zhenn going.

I've also been asked to tank some of the bosses - especially the bishop summoner, so that the others can deal with the bishops.

Other than that, throwing aoes during the zhenn and reapplying bramble after the tanks use alpha-male.

You should always ask the magic DD classes if they want bramble in any instance. In FC, a lot of times the wizards will want it as they end up tanking a lot of stuff. Every time I've done FC with a sin, or any instance for that matter, they want bramble.

Hercs can tank all but one boss in FC: the fragrance boss. Although it is a pain to tank the exploding circle boss and slasher boss with a herc cos you have to time it so herc doesnt die.

If you are going with a barb, ask him if he wants you to tank or not. Some barbs actually prefer to tank (falls off chair).

I always tell my FC squad to ask me for chi, that way I don't pass it unnecessarily and can use it for nova. Nova works great on the dragon and bishop mobs.

I do pay attention to the clerics BB use though. When they are still in BB, I pass them chi so if it gets interupted, they can start it back up immediately.

I always pass chi to either the cleric when he/she sets up BB
I also tell this to the squad, and tell them to ask if they need chi. On bosses I make sure I send the bm chi for dragons breath(or whatever it's called)

With a herc you will probably be asked to tank everything but that flower boss who is like pole or nob... so herc can't tank it.

Further just be a veno do what you always do ^^ amp/purge whatever you think is neccesary and have fun

@ Mindcrime I have several barbs that prefer to tank all of the FC themselves...it's fun to run with them

Chi the clerics, bramble those that want it. For group pulls I love to hit with para. nova after roar goes up. We've had one hit KOs when we've hit right after roar with Heaven's Flame, Para. Nova, and Tempest and any other aoe skills (if we're running with two clerics) it's sweet ROFL
