Pet Question

Hi everyone! I'm asking for help concerning a pet choice. I'm only a lvl 19 veno and of course exceptionally noobish XD At the moment I have a sharptooth wolfing from lvl 2. What I'm wondering is, if there is a pet out there around my lvl that is small like the wolfling but can hold better agro and looks better? I'm only interested in exploring the game mostly if that helps. Thanks!

The level 19 scorpions along Tranquility Western Shore and Silk Ridge come with Bash 2 and Toxic Mist 1, and the scorpions in general are hard hitting but squishy. They'll be able to hold aggro better than your wolfling with level 1 flesh ream (which has a longer cooldown than Bash and the so-called elemental bashes like Toxic Mist), especially if you leave Bash on auto and manually trigger Toxic Mist.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I tried out the bug. Sadly though I'm not liking the bug lol Are there any other suggestions? Perhaps a link to a site containing pet names/lvls/locations/abilites? Thanks again b:pleased0

Level 16-30 pets.
I wouldn't recommend a dark wanderer as an aggro holder, straight out of the egg... it doesn't come with that impressive a set of skills (tough in position one, roar in 2, and pierce in 3.) Besides that, it's 9 levels under the OP (if not more by now), and she was asking for pets around her level, not one to level up.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Here's is another list of pets.
The link above has a list of pets and their stats at lvl100. Next to the stats you can also see the Coordinates and level you can find it. That list provides pictures of the pets so I thought it might be helpful, too.
Remember that a pet which is trained from a low level will have better stats than a pet of the same level (exception is the legendary pets hercules and phoenix that have better stats than any pet + legendary skills).
I know training pets can be boring but after lvl40 you can enter a special room inside Cube of Fate and that will make pet training simple, easy and fast. i'd suggest that you choose a few pets you like and stick with them. Even though higher level pets will come with better attacks there is a common Veno saying "You can buy skills but you can't buy stats".
Untill level 30 or so the pet stats won't really matter. As long as it keeps aggro anything can do the job but as you level up you'll have to encounter stronger mobs, mini-bosses, elites and you'll also get introduced to the BH quests. By then you'll notice that you need to have pets with decent stats and different pets for different situations. Eg. a fast or ranged pet to lure, a pet with high defence (tank pet), an air pet, a water pet, a pet with high attack/DPS to support the squad etc.
However, the most important is to tame the pets you want and like and enjoy the game b:victory[SIGPIC]http://i.imgur.com/MtwcqjL.png[/SIGPIC]

I don't think this person wants the OP to have the best known DPS land pet in the game.
Here's what the OP said: "What I'm wondering is, if there is a pet out there around my lvl"
-That could mean they don't want to wait 60 levels to get it. The Wanderer unlike most other pets is worth upgrading as it's not made obsolete in the presence of a Herc. Pierce generates aggro for being an applied skill and the extra dps from it helps. The one I have blows away the Herc at tanking Stygean for a Squad (aggro holding and dps), is great for grinding, and helps take down bosses w/o using skills significantly faster than a Herc can if not tanking.Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.0 -
That's at your level, and you left out the "but can hold better agro" part. At level 19, with stock skills, it won't hold aggro significantly better than the wolfling.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
