Can someone tell me, what this quest is for.. Do you get a dragon at the end? or are dragons for untamed only?

I have done a few, up to Sweeping Tail.

What do I do with the dragon orders?

Dont get me wrong, You get gold gold and exp, spirit

Dragon Quest (DQ) is basically collecting items (all of which are labeled "Required for Dragon Quest: Name Level") and killing mobs. Me, I've never done it. You do not get a dragon, you get a Dragon Order, which, when you collect enough, can be traded for stuff. I'm not 100% on what stuff, but I know quite certain that you can get a mount for 50 Copper DQ orders and 30 Silver DQ orders. Honestly, I don't think it's worth the effort >_>

I mostly agree with what DDEShare, the majority of DQ stuff is unnecessary and unreachable at the level its labeled for, which makes it almost pointless for people with one character. Personally, I'm working on the blood moon bracers for my sin (lvl 60 - interval b:dirty).

Things you can trade the dragon orders for are weapons, armors, and mounts. Each has their own requirement of copper and silver or silver and gold Dragon orders.

DQs are a waste of time and effort and some times a coin sink, you gain exp and a dragon order at the end! and thats it, but some people love to do them, most of us NPC the drops or use the items to extend your bank slots

So you can use the dragon orders to expand your bank slot?

No. You use the Dragon Quest items to expand your bank to some extent (you won't be able to extend it fully using DQ items). Dragon Orders can be used to exchange for stuff at the NPCs in charge of the Dragon Quest.
