    But still his point is valid. Out of all classes it's BARBS who always have problem coming. Always BARBS. I've yet to see ANY OTHER class being a problem. Yes even tideborns.

    Maybe because barbs suffer the highest costs? just maybe.



    Be nice to your furry friends and they'll be nice to you, if not then you can always spam WC all day looking for one, and if you're lucky you can get Tymirichy, and then go fail on wave 1.

    i keep reading this thread and i got idea that delta is some kind of super uber hard run. I never was in delta so is it really that hard that u cant complete it with random squad?

    ive done gamma several times and its pretty easy. Ive done it mostly with random squads too. So is it big diff between delta and gamma?

    Gamma is probably the easiest to finish. Delta is only easy when you have a relatively high level squad with great gear.

    Delta is hard when your barb has 13k hp and doesn't speak english.

    I was never unfriendly to barbs, or anyone for that matter. I can understand high costs and everything (*sigh* from the days of gamma). But they get rewards like the rest of us. I'm sure they have higher costs to maintain, never claimed they don't... but that doesn't mean they must never show up at all.

    Did today with 'random' squad (not exactly random but there were 3 newbies for delta) and got to 8th wave, then BM dced after 7th boss lol (which you can guess, was leader, and quest failed, so no point in continuing). Barb was lvl91, archer lvl90, veno lvl92, you name it. I don't see why higher lvl barbs still think it's impossible to do. (also I think barb was the only one charmed in our squad as well...)

    (most of us weren't even in for a full run just chrono quest for 2nd map lol)

    3rd wave is the hardest by far. At least until the 8th which is the top in difficulty. b:chuckle

    It's not that it's hard, it's that it's long. Most people if they're going to commit 3 hours of their time it's not going to be with random people, at least not at 90+ when MOST people, obvoiously not OP, have plenty of freinds that they run with.

    Why I hate doing Delta:

    It's long.
    I can't go afk.
    Charm cost.
    Reward isn't enticing enough to warrant the long hours of sitting on my butt staring at the screen.

    Sheesh and the clerics are complaining it's boring cause they just BB most times except on stun waves. I actually like that it's more, uhm, intense than the rest of the game, and that you can't go afk, makes it more challenging.

    I guess not many hardcore barbs then. :(

    Dont you know it's hard work yelling at the archers they didnt fist the hp on first 3 bosses down to nothingness enough? sheeesh... LOL Just joking.. but I do love delta for that reason. Pretty easy to BB and just wait for stuns waves. Not a luxury I have in any other instances. Where healing = can barely type.


    Edit to be on-topic: I adopted a barb for son long ago ingame, keep a second as secret lover.. so no problems here when i need one for anything :P

    just cause you can find a group & make some so called friends doesnt mean everybody can
    ive done tons of runs in all kinds of instances & the only people i can count on to be on when i am is my faction m8es ive done tons of random sqauds in different instances but its never the same people even bck then i never had the same people

    I guess having a good barb for delta is one of the percs to being in a good faction.

    Delta is no easy task, many things can go wrong, including back to back people disconnecting like the other day.

    OK here is your serious answer

    Almost all good barbs are in good factions.

    Many people in good factions need Delta all the time, lower levels to level up, medium levels to get oht maps, higher levels for bh and culti. So any delta that goes on gets filled up very fast. And for sound deltas you need to have a good mix of different squads, you are a phschic fighting with many classes for a spot. Barbs and clerics only fight each other for spots. If i need a dd for delta i will pm you.

    Well the thing that's easy about it is that most of the problems are well known and somewhat easily avoidable. As long as the veno is good and pulls the boss away from the last sub wave of each wave, you're usually ok. The only real difficulty is the last two sub waves... kill the advisors first. If you can manage that, it's pretty easy.

    Simple answer is good barbs are few and far between. They usually end up doing a lot of deltas either for a faction or a large group of friends, and given the charm and repair hit to them after a while it just isn't worth it anymore. So they get pickier about when they go (just BH, for instance, and at most to wave 5), or who they go with (higher dmg squad, decent bm, etc.).

    First time I went with a mage I didn't know it was horrible. One of my freinds I was running with was like "K I know a mage that can go" he gets in and on first wave alone he is constantly close to dying. Dies on second wave about 3 times before getting sent to 1k.

    I look at his stats the guy has 3.6k hp buffed, 7x gear and no charm.


    And that was when I decided never to run with any random people ever again.

    u kids cried so much that u want new servers yet u are all lvl100+ and now crying that no barbies on server...why u ppl just couldnt make character on old servers ?

    Pay me 500k per ff run and ill help anyone on the HT server..100k for repair...400k for just being there.Im sure if you cs'ers can afford to rush to 100+ on stones then im sure you can flash some coin for your barb.Its a labor fee in wich in the time it takes to run most ff's i could have made double farming herbs/mats.

    not really needed unless your stats kinda blow. done many full delta with uncharmed barb or myself

    Static group, charm isn't needed. But I've usually got mine from other stuff anyways. One thing I do everytime I enter with a random, is check the weapons of all DDs and barb, and the armor as a secondary thing. Gives a better idea of what exact role you might need to help with in addition to your normal one.

    It's much easier to get Delta when you are in a faction with barbs that can run it to help you / want to do it. Look at me I'm a sin and have 4th map :P

    I consider it a long instance in a game where you can level this fast and do PvE without any problems at all levels.

Charm on 5k hp unbuffed DDs? What's the point of a barb and BM then, if not to share aggro and keep it from DDs? Heck two DDs that share aggro and spamming crab meat + charmed could do delta without a barb/BM even with that kinda gear.

    Now I know you compensate your lack of skill with uber gear & charms, no wonder you saying the game is easy. To pull it off without your uber gear requisites though and cashshop stuff (charms), that's a different matter altogether. In fact, I'm positive you actually only have those "requisites" because you run with old-timers who had time to get their gear up, since you are on a really old server. Try some new players for a change or new server b:cute

    You should be grateful this game is "easy", because people like you without skill but with gear wouldn't be able to complete it otherwise by afking in a macro. b:bye

    Granted we didn't make it to 8th wave because BM dced after the taurox boss... and I know that wave is hard. Still the only problem would be the barb & BM in this case, and suffice to say he did pretty damn good for his "low" gear, compared to people like you with barely any skill at all.

    (don't mind the bad-angle pics... they were more of an accident than taking time to make them properly for viewing pleasure, but I was too lazy to type manually the stats of everyone).

    You know his gear is pretty average. +5 refines with g8's, hardly "uber".

    It is impossible for me to have 5k hp unbuffed with +5 armor at my level. My armor is +4, TT90 and OHT with decent stats, and I have 3.6k HP unbuffed. Yes it is sharded with immaculate citrine shards 2/3 sockets each. Except for wrists which are pdef sharded and helmet (I still need to replace it soon with something better).

    But then again he thinks mages are an uber class, so can't really expect much of him to know anything about them.

    Of course, I'm pure mag.

    Rawrgh beat me to it, but you can also stat 50 base vit. Hardly takes away from your matk, greatly increases your survivability. Usually recommended to those who can't afford "uber" gear.
