Who here thinks of having No Dedicated Healer in an MMO?

Who here thinks that not having a dedicated healer is bad idea if you have good self heals?This is about MMOs.
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

    Is this about the absolute futuristic new-standard-setting in 2011 launching so-far-awesome-sounding MMO which also will be F2P with no monthly fees? (now you can guess what I mean :D)


    Anyway... some people like to be dedicated healers... and with self-heals... isn't that a bit boring? On the other hand, you don't have to rely on healers then...

    Yes it is that game but take this games dedicated healers and apply it to that.What would this game be like without Clerics?

    pw without healers would be impossable... unless they gimped everything so either wizzy heals could cover it or they could be tanked with charms... I think its important to have a detacated healing class... besides... clerics can also DD pretty damn well... So its not like they ONLY heal

    A game with no dedicated healer would be jade dynasty and that games great.
    I don't care how old or young you are, how small your **** is, how much of a nerd irl you are or how depressed you are that you never will get laid. There is no reason to act like an A-hole to everyone on an mmorpg. Its a shame that I have to take time out of my day to tell people "stop being an A-hole". So I end with this, if your acting like an A-hole, and some one tells you your being an A-hole chances are your being an A-hole.

    If all classes have some reasonable form of self-healing, there's no need for a dedicated healing class and you can gauge a player's skill with far more accuracy.


    PWI, on the other hand, could never manage this because not every class has a reliable form of self heal (and in the case of archers, they don't have any self-heals at all genies and sparking notwithstanding).
