I have a quick question.

Looking into getting a Netbook for work / travel. Light and easy to carry around.

They can match all recommended System settings, and surpass others. However I'm wonding about the operating system. They come with "Windows 7 Starter" mostly (??? No clue what Starter really is...)

Will the client still work or is there an OS conflict? Anyone from Tech.Support know? Anyone test it out before? Curious

Thanks for the help!! Let me know :)

If you get a netbook with a nVidia ION or ION2 video chipset, you will have a much easier time running the game.

Because netbook CPUs are so underpowered compared to mid level laptops and desktops, you will not be able to multitask while playing the game. The lower screen space will make playing PWI almost impossible unless the display can show 800x600. Anything smaller, and the in-game menus start crowding around under and over each other.

Here are Windows Starter limitations that I have found: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7install/thread/422801d5-89de-494d-8cc1-6f4fc21c2ac0

Starter Edition is severely crippled. Good for school work, not good for gamers or techy people. Try for Windows 7 Home or XP SP3 if you have to.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
