Hello again

Dont mean to spam the thread but was curious on how barbs hold aggro these days.

I've been gone little over 7 months, been back week and a half. I find that 90+ players these days dont seem to have the skill they used to, but then again thats another story which I been finding relate to hyper stones. Also that Assasins seem to generate a **** load of aggro. How can a barb handle this huge amount of aggro from them???

Seems a fist assasin is incredible aggro, not to mention archers. Without increase to our speed or aggro skills increased what exactly is expected of us?? I take pride in my aggro and hate looseing it. I understand I'm low dmg, but hell I'm a barb, I am supposed to get aggro and keep it. I couldnt care a whole lot about dmg, but in human form I do alright. Was curious what some of you do to try and sustain sufficent aggro against the new class of assasins??

Throw some feed back y'all get a chance. am curious what a bar can do if anything. BTW I'm a sage barb, focus mostly on hp.

    anything to help increase your damage in relation to the rest of the squad will obviously help you to hold aggro.

    Titan Buff yourself only (hell they already do a lot of damage o.0) keep poison fang up always, refine weaponry more, tell them to chill out on demon sparking if they don't wanna end up tanking, bramble guard and psychics soul of vengeance help a lot, wizard water attack buff, use spark eruption yourself every once in a while.

    First of all; welcome back.

    Second of all, with all the - interval gear you'll find yourself losing aggro to: (in alphabetical order) archers, assasins and blademasters. They're on a race to 5attacks per second. The DDs can demon spark almost at will. Barbs, no matter how amazing, are losing aggro. It would be nice if we could get it back without having to re-stat and go fist/claw.

    Lastly, there are a great deal of 9X+ hyperstone/bh/oracle only players that have relatively little real game experience. So get used to it.

    And yea I see where your coming from. It seems either the DD's have to slow down some or yea there getting hit.

    It's become a world of crit ho's out there, with less and less ways for barbs to keep up.

    I'm demon, so I hit full dmg in cat form (that helps). Generate all the chi you can to keep spamming FleshReam, Demon Sunder gives all crits for 5 seconds, in addition to the bleed, tanking with zerk weapons(refines and dmg shards), frighten helps keep boss' damage down so you dont have to use your sparks for Invoke near as often.

    But a well equipped claw BM will eventually take aggro away, and eventually keep it (if they are trying).

    There are a few I trust that I let tank, and I stand up and DD the **** outa the boss.
