    I only resort to wanting to beat ppl up if they are saying stuff that's really really racist or if they say "I, ill beat you up irl". I don't think anyone on the thread would beat them up for pking or simply being annoying. That sounds absurd.
    I don't care how old or young you are, how small your **** is, how much of a nerd irl you are or how depressed you are that you never will get laid. There is no reason to act like an A-hole to everyone on an mmorpg. Its a shame that I have to take time out of my day to tell people "stop being an A-hole". So I end with this, if your acting like an A-hole, and some one tells you your being an A-hole chances are your being an A-hole.

    No I wouldn`t, got into enough of fights in bar/etc. I got no need to go look for more. I`m not even counting the times when random drunk ppl on street come looking for fight, usually I can escape those w/o hitting em, it would be just beating up defenseless idiot =/. I gotta agree with 90% who said yes would get their **** kicked in that fight, when you get into enough fights, you just can`t be freaking bothered entering one, not something I find appealing. Beating somebody doesn`t make you some real "cool" guy, more of pathetic invidual. Would I hit back if attacked? Totally, but I guess topic isn`t about that but attacking somebody over freaking game, lol.

    Edit: Like mime said, ppl dun get jail easy, I myself haven`t been jail for more than just sleep my head sober, so night now and then =/.

    to the ppl that thinks u go to jail for every fight that u get into, i can bet that u have never been in one in ur life, and grew up in the warm cozy flowerbed treasured by ur loving ma and pa. every single day ppl get beat up because their circumstances are not as fortunate as ur own. how much of that gets filed by police? 10%? 5%? i don't even think that much. u need to get a perspective on real life.

    Wow really?

    I don't fight IRL generally speaking. It's stupid and all it does is cause the other guy to lose a lot of blood. Not really my scene, besides do you know how hard it is to get bloodstains out? It's NOT easily done.

    PWI is a game. People have their "in game" persona and then there's real life. I'm sure there's a few people out there that go prancing around saying "I'm a level XXX <insert class here> you can't do that to me!!!" in real life, but there can't be that many of them. If I ran into one of them, I'd be too busy laughing to fight, not to mention that I'm sure their mom or dad would be close by.

    So the simple answer is no, there's no reason for my in-game toon's conflicts to carry over to real life. So no, I wouldn't start a fight over it. I'd have a laugh over it. And if he/she was mature he/she would have a laugh over it as well.

    I wouldn't even beat up an enemy I had in real life unless there was a damn good reason. I don't know many people I could consider enemies, anyway.

    I'd most likely laugh about it, invite him out for lunch, and we'd end up being friends by the end of the day.

    Everyday people get into fights over what some one said over face book or myspace.just because those are labled as "social networking" sites does it make it more understandable that some one gets beat up over something said on facebook rather than on a game just because it is fact a game. I see no difference between the two besides what they are called and what you can do on them. In my opinion the "game" card most ppl used is irrelevant because if some one embarrased you on face book would it not be the same as some one on pwi doing it? Internetz is the internetz.

    Btw ppl don't always get arrested for a street fight. Only ppl stupid enough not to finish it fast.

    If you're starting a fight with somebody because they called you a name on Facebook, MySpace, PWI or any other internet site, you are as childish as they are.

    If you then need to come here and ask if other people do it, you're clearly looking for support so you don't have to feel as childish as you actually are. Which just adds to your childish behaviour; the fact you're needing reassurance on the issue.

    Good job.

    The only time I'd fight with somebody in regards to something said on the internet would be if they were childish enough to start it first. At which point, I'll be the adult of the situation and finish it. b:bye

    If you go into a store, and start beating on some random stranger, you think you're not likely to get arrested? Are you an idiot? Are you 10?

    Getting into a fist fight in a parking lot or a street, or perhaps in your particular case, hiding behind the slide in your grade school playground, yeah many times people don't get arrested.

    If you think you can get away with it in a retail store without getting into trouble, you're a fool.

    well, irl I have learned that "beating someone up" is not an option for me....
    I won't impress anyone as I measure 1,64 cm - 64,57 Inches. b:avoid

    So I have skilled alternative options:

    * 1. I don't get mad... (in game that is - not to skilled yet irl but getting better as I age)
    * 2. I developed patience, I can now hold a grudge for years & years ghe ghe
    * 3. I don't forgive....
    * 4. I don't forget.....


    All I have to do is wait - karma will get them eventually b:victory

    I like the way you pretend to really know me or my intentions on making thiread, the only childish person is you for constantly judging some one because they think/do things differently that you. I didn't make this poll so I can feel better about myself. I made it to reach into the minds of pwi players and see how they think. You make it seem like I said "if some one called me a noob I wanna kill them"n no I don't get down like that. If you don't have anything nice to say, like steve wilkos say "GET THE **** OFF MY STAGE" b:cute

    If I was being a hypocrite I would be insulting everyone who chose no. I'm going at the people insulting the yes choosers. No one said beating some one up over pixels. Even a pigeon should understand this: if some one threatened you in a game that trancends the pixels and make threats to your real life well being, if you seen that same person irl would you do something or not? Yes or no. Idk if trancend was too large of a word but w/e. No one needs your constant insults and trolling because what is it accomplishing? Its a poll. Answer it and go away. Ppl comit suicide all the time from internet bullying, why not insult them. When you think about it, wanting to beat up internet bullies is pretty good for the community :)

    Well here be me answer.
    No me would not beat up someone me didn't like physically since that be rather primitive, generally serves no real end purpose (why just beat them up if you disagree? would be preferable to aim to kill instead if you reach that point), and would go against the "direct contact rule" we currently employ....and would be rather sad for the human.

    road rage is real. I've been in a car with someone who had a case of it. guy cut him off so he sped up around them and slammed on the brakes. guy got out of his car (huge **** dude too) and came up to our car and punched this guy I was with through the open window and proceeded to strangle him.     well no you don't go to jail for every fight you get into - and by the same token you also don't win every fight you get into. however, rocking off on someone in a public place like Target is dumbass idea. Depending how the situation unravels (you may wind up with quite a struggle on your hands) someone is likely to report the attack. If you beat the person so badly that they fear for their life they may likely report you to the authorities themselves. That said..

    would I rock off on someone IRL that pissed me off in game? No. If the game made me that mad I'd just quit playing all together (hence why I don't play on PK servers).

    Its quite simple to beat up a dude as a girl. Just find a gentleman that refuses to lay a hand on a woman and beat the **** outa him.
