Immune Genie Skills and Collecting Materials

Do the "immune" genie skills Nullify Poison, Heart of Steel, Sand Shield, Oxygen Bubble, etc. prevent the interruption of digging for mats since they give you immunity or do they still interrupt and you just resist damage? I have been experimenting, but I am still unclear on the results. I do understand that you ARE NOT immune to physical damage, but elemental range attacks are what I am referring to.. Any thoughts?

    Nothing can make you "immune" to being interrupted while digging.... at least I don't know of anything that would.

    If you're digging a mat or whatever where there are several aggressive mobs, the best thing you can do to keep digging without interruption is to get rid of the mobs. Have a friend watch over you and kill the mobs while you dig, or, if your genie can handle it -and- the mobs' hp is low enough, you can cast high damage aoe genie skills like Bramble Rage to give yourself a few more seconds to dig while the mobs respawn, again.
