Farming Interruption

Ok.. I'm tired of not farming a mat because a mob walks over and interrupts my digging. So question.. do the "immune" skills Nullify Poison, Oxygen Bubble, etc. prevent the interrupt since they give you immunity or do they still interrupt and you just do not take damage?
