Assassins...and points to updating weapons!!!

I have ALOT of stones...like ALOT

But every ten levels you get a new weapon, or armorb:angry

So is their a point of putting the gems in? and why?!?!?!?!?

And a side note...are assassins late bloomers?

Cause im lvl 24...and not having a good time...

    eventually leveling will slow down to where getting ten more levels and a new weapon will take you some time. then it's worth putting real thought and effort into sharding your stuff.

    until then, well, some of the gems you have early in the game probably aren't much good. might try putting some really low-grade ones in a decent weapon or armor piece just to get familiar with the process, unless you can think of anything else to use such gems for anyway.

    and yeah, the 2x levels pretty well suck. for most every class i've tried so far. things pick up towards the 3x levels, it seems --- though i haven't played a 'sin that far, myself.

    Putting shards in your weapon is always a good idea, at lower levels they can make quite a difference. It also raises the value of your weapon by a bit so the money you spend on it eventually comes back anyway.

    Assassins are indeed not that great in PvE on lower levels. Past 29 it starts getting easier though, as you get more and more chi charging skills.
