Point of Updating weapons and armor

I have ALOT of stones...like ALOT

But every ten levels you get a new weapon, or armorb:angry

So is their a point of putting the gems in? and why?!?!?!?!?

And a side note...are assassins late bloomers?

Cause im lvl 24...and not having a good time...

    Ummm...

    You should not worry about refine/sharding etc until at least around 7x...otherwise it is a waste since levels go so fast...

    Once you get to about level 80, adding shards to your gear becomes a good idea, as you'll be using some of the better gear for quite a while (I've been using the same sleeves since level 77)

    Also, Assassins are the most overpowered pve (and 1v1) class in the game. You'll see once you start getting better gear.
