So i've just started playing, tried out a cleric and now I wanna try out blademaster. I'm really interested in polearms(I think they're cool weapons) and I looked up the build and it said every 2 lvls to do 5 str 2 dex and leaves me with 3 points left and that I should use them on dex or vit. Which would be more helpful in your opinions. Could I use them on str if I wanted? I just want honest opinions on what you think

3 str 2 dex per lvl as your base add vit as you can

polearms dont really become viable untill you pick up a decent poleblade with say zerk and maxed farstrike

as a bm fists wil lbe your main weapon axes secondary just the way it works

But if you are going the normal route (which means mostly BHs), your weapon path doesn't matter that much. Pick the one you like the most. There are no bad weapon paths early on, but when you hit 60+, having fists is good and at 80+ you will probably need axes to get to certain squads.

if you bh you will either

    A) tank with fists and support with axes

    B) stand there with your thumb up your **** while the other bm's do option A

    C) be in a squad of idiots so nobody will notice anyways

all bm's suck below 60 anyways but fists kill mobs faster at a lower cost and are cheap as hell spirit wise

axes are your squad support weapon along with swords

spears...are great for hell path adds and farstrike but very much an endgame utility weapon

With the option C being the most common. Only like 10% of all people I did BH59 with actually knew something about BM class. Not like this hero (BM as well) who told me that sage rocks but he couldn't say why.

    this ^^^

axes are amazing for AOE and saving a clerics **** when the barbs roars on cooldown. I also used to tank BH51 all the time with just fists and double spark. I somehow managed to keep aggro from archers too. So i definetly suggest to you to use fist and axe the very least. As they've said, until you find a pole with zerk or something its really only good for farstrike and it actually gives roar of the pride a longer range believe it or not (or is it just me?). Hell it gives all your skills a longer range, so smacking a stun on a running mob becomes a little easier

ROTP is a ranged skill unaffected by weapon range

a pole will up your normal attack range to 5 meters or so usefull when you cant quite ground a harpy in fcc rotp>hit with pole to death is easier than bowing em or skill spam lol also nice to keep scrumkins in 39 from kiteing if you have a 5 meter pole since mobs only kite/cast once your within that range

it depends for tw u should add vit and dex. or just do 3str,1dex,1vit each level this will let you use poles and axes. since axes are the must have weapon anything else is what you want This build will allow u to have good accuracy and good hp
