Recently acquired my CH:SM, it is now 2 soc + 4 with 2 immac garnets, wondering what level should i start thinking about replacing this weap? My friend used it until she got Dbow: nameless @ 99.

    Well, it starts getting outclassed as soon as L85 when the frost bows become available. Not sure why people still make SM with Vast land relatively cheap and only 5 levels later.

    That said, SM should last you into your 90's, though waiting until L99 to replace it is quite unusual.

    well people make CH:SM mainly for its relative cost/effectiveness

    especially seeing Archosaur is a new server, not much supply in terms of Vast Land

    Frost Sign Force goes for around 35m

    2 Golden Spirit = 3m total, 10 iron bars, 3m more
    6m + sub cost/unicorn decomp looking at around 7m for total weapon

    7m compared to 35m is a big difference.

    I would probably only swap this weapon out for a lunar bow, or wait until 99, no other choices tbh, unless I get my hands on an already made Blinding Radiance for pvp/tw purposes.

    You're thinking of Broad Land there, not Vast Land. The only way to get Vast Land is for it to drop during FCC, whereas Broad Land is the one you get from the Force signs. Also, Vast Land is much, much cheaper than Broad Land or TT90s. Just yesterday, I bought me a +2 Vast Land for 1,200,000 coins. And the best part is that with +3 and 2 immaculates, it'll surpass my TT90 crossbow.

    No I meant the supply from Vast Land is low, I have yet to even see one on the server yet

    Coco is, unfortunately, right. our server is the newest and not as populated as the rest. finding one is difficult. up until now, i have only seen one being used and a sin is the one that has it -.-

    CS:SS is an amazing bow. yes, it is a bit more expensive than your average one, but that +max attack, the interval, and the skill which procs very often and gives around an extra 600 damage give off such great DPS. more DPS than vast land and more DPS than Dragonbow. I used my CS:SS up until now (95) since I had my lunar bow ready.

    That would be my recommendation ^^

    You are such a noob Coco, no1 uses CH:SM in the 80s, it's all about the unicorn, go 2 socket + 10 it and be a pro like everyone else, IJS.

    I've been using a +5 CH since level 80 and it's doing just fine till now. Going to use it till level 95 then switch to the HS. Taken down some other archers using other bows with gloom and crit procs simultaneously during PvP.

    This is a bow you have to be very careful and attentive with especially when you're DDing on bosses. When gloom and crit procs at the same time, its time to cast that winged shell and WOG cause stealing aggro is almost always imminent.

    Back before fcc was even possible I got CH:S and +5ed it(was free :p) and have a flawless and immac garnet and despite what people may say, I used it until 99(I use a Nameless now) and I kept taking aggro with the CH:S. When I did squad with other similar archers with a vast lands or broadlands +5(give or take) they didnt steal nearly as much aggro(if any) as I did. It surpasses Dragonbow and I wasnt going to reform a cbow just for 9 levels. -int + gloom ftw b:victory

    lol@milyenonsancwhoactuallydidthis. no joke.

    soulsmasher is a plenty fine weapon up until 95, especially with the scarcity of vast land. it may be cheap, but its not easily found, thus not a suitable replacement. i wwould use it until 90, where blinding radience owns it to pieces, or 95 if youre lucky enough to have a lunar bow (then again, every single freakin archer seems to magically have one) back on point. use it till 90/95 depending on your situation

    Actually, it's "Wizzeled".

    And he's done a lot worse, such as +7'ing a lvl 60-something crossbow and +10ing a Broad Land. Oh, and all of his gear was +10 with 4 vita stones in each piece with a +12 weapon. Yes, he +10'd his ... rings.
