pre paid cards????

Just wanted to give a little warning to all

I think the pre paid cards sold at Target stores might be a rip off....I just bought 3 of them...($30+ tax) and none of them worked. Target wont give me my money back and PWI wont recognize them as valid so I'm out 30 bucks. I know that this post will problebly get me banned for life.

    Send in a ticket.

    did the website accept your code?if yes try to relog and the gold should be on your account

    Scan the receipt and cards (code side showing) and send that in on a ticket so you can prove you actually paid for it, and the GMs can manually add it for you, stuff like that has happened to me before with other prepaid cards for other services and thats how it always gets fixed

    Hmm thats weird, all of my cards never came with taxes.

    Thirding. I always get mine from 7-11 and they never charge me tax. You might have bought the wrong cards OP...

    Yeah, they aren't suppose to charge tax with it.

    In washington state you pay sales tax on everything except food.

    They charge taxes here in Canada so the PW cards (or any gift cards in general) are taxed, just in case the poster's in Canada.
