Remap your pet attack key

I meant to post about this earlier this year and forgot to do it. Your pet attack hotkey defaults to alt-1. Being a two-key combo, it is clumsy, slow, and often inaccurate when you try to order your pet to attack in a panic

So open up your key bindings ('k') and remap it to something else. I put it on 'r' since that's close to alt-2, alt-3, alt-4, and alt-5 for pet skills, and moved 'r' to something else (you can put it on alt-1 if you wish). It's worked very well. So well that I frequently had the opposite problem - sending the pet to attack when I didn't mean to. I unlearned that after a couple weeks, and things have been grand ever since. My left hand doesn't hurt as much either.

    It's an interesting solution, but I don't find alt-1 a problem to use. In fact, the only key I can't reach without hurting my hand is alt-5. Which is why I click that skill with the mouse.

    I'm not sure why, but i changed my pet attack to 'v' O.o; close to alt, maybe?

    i also put it on V seems much easier well im moving around

    I have auto-attack on my melee characters on "1". Since I tend to have the same hotkeys set up (what button will be the stun skill, apoth etc.) I found it very convenient to bind the "1" to Pet Attack, since I normally used that button to initiate battles anyway.
