Facebook Event: The Road to 100k

Well guys, the PWI Facebook Page has now reached 77,000 "Likes", a number which evokes two different sentiments from us:

Sentiment 1. You guys are awesome.

Sentiment 2. We can do even more, and it's time to ramp it up!



It's been many months since our last Facebook Fan Contest, and we figured that, with all the new players who have joined our servers, there is no better time than now to start up a new one, so here we go!



The Plan

This event will last 3 weeks-- 'til July 28th at 5:00pm PDT.

During this period, we will be having a number of giveaways. Prizes for these giveaways will include, but not be limited to:

    The Target

    Our goal to hit within these 3 weeks?


    100,000 Facebook Likes!



    The Reward

    In addition to the aforementioned giveaways that will occur during the next 3 weeks, if we can reach 100,000 Facebook Likes within the event time period, we will flip the switch for 2x EXP/2x Spirit for 2 whole weeks on all servers!



    Also, keep in mind that by "Liking" us on Facebook, you'll not only become part of a huge community of other hardcore PWI players like yourself, but you'll also gain access to Jones Blessing (+30% attack power buff) as well as other upcoming PWI-related functionalities!



    All you have to do is go here and click the "Like" button:

    Um....do the people that have been in the "like" page since the first 5 lvl give away also get a shot at the 5 lvls? :D

    It was stated in another forum that yes, they do.

    Here's how it will work:

    During the next 3 weeks, we'll be making Wall Posts on the PWI Facebook Page. Some of these wall posts will be "Giveaway" wall posts. In these posts,we'll let you know which prize is up for grabs, and it will be up to you to comment on the post. The winner of the prize will be selected from the players who commented on the post.

    And that's it :)

    I swore that read 2x drop when the news first was posted on the front page and everyone in my faction was excited/complaining about it.

    Also, I couldn't care less about the 2x exp and free levels, but am VERY interested in the figure (and the jacket/hoodie as well and would seriously wear it).

    Well here is one for ya...why the XXXX does it not include 2x drops like before? Woohoo I'm 101 and the last time I grinded for more then 15 minsutes was oh a year ago (if not more)? Wow w/ this promo I get to have 2x the exp to feed my genies for 2 weeks; can't wait. All 2x exp/spirit does it get more high level/undergeared nubs running around who have nfi how to do instances their own level. I even did a 100 bh the other day w/ a 101 archer using a 88 mold bow +2 w/ no shards....

    I don't understand. How will PWE know which Facebook account is connected to their player?
    Does your email have to match the same email with the one on facebook? Also what are the fine print requirements to win contest prizes?

    The 50 million players stated in the trailer is referring to all legit versions of PW, of which PW:China is by far the most popular.

    Our Facebook page is just for players of PW International, which is based in North America.

    Not true, when it started we were just under 74k, and we're now at 77.5k

    In the case of the five free levels, we'll ask for your character name and verify through various methods that it's really your character.

    Fail. This time, don't announce the winner 3 weeks before actually giving them the levels. Just give them the levels, or make sure it's retroactive to the day the winners are announced, because that was pretty stupid on PWI's behalf.

    The hoodies/jackets/other goodies will be shipped around the world on our dime.


    The Barb statue, due to weight limitations, will only be shipped domestically and possibly to Canada.
