    The Gamestop owner I talked to today mentioned that some states are putting a tax on all virtual things, like xbox live cards, including PWI cards. This is only true in USA; I'm not sure about Canada, though. Other than that, there should be no activation fee. It's the same as buying zen with a credit card & paypal.

    Can you specify first the exact type of prepaid card you have? There are several options in North America so to get you a proper response, we have to get specific ;)
