Randomly unequipped items

I've noticed several times on my characters that when I open up their inventory screens an item that was equipped (and I never remove) has been moved to my inventory spaces instead. This has happened with armor (bracers), weapons, flying mounts (sword and wings). A couple things about it:

-It does not necessarily follow a death (and I always use angels anyway).
-It's always just one item.
-My name is always blue.
-The item is never missing, just moved to my inventory.

Are these things I would have dropped if I didn't have an angel? Why did it move to my inventory? Has this happened to anyone else?

    Oh my this again...yes it has happened before and if I remember right there were a few threads about it.

    As far as I know, this has happened to me a few times.
    When I logged in, my genie (or 'angel' as you would call it) was unequipped. Other times it occurs is when I unequip my crossbow - the bolts,or ammo, unequipp occasionally too.

    A ninja ghost is running around unequipping people's gear.



    I always notice, if my max HP drops then a piece of my gear got ninja unequipped.

    Or broke.

    This is the main reason why it is a good thing they added the "confirmation" before an item is dropped from your inventory...before it would just drop out b:surrender

    Thanks for your reply, Red.

    I never layer my windows so that's not it but since I do use B to open my inventory (usually) I will have to watch out for the right-click to rotate views at the same time. I don't *think* I do that but maybe I've just not noticed it before. I'll pay more attention next time I see this happen.

    And yes, I too am glad I can't accidentally drop something that way. b:victory

    And, personally, I hate when my stuff gets randomly unequipped (or dropped, though that does not happen to me now).

    If you're trying to change the view (right clicking on the screen) as your inventory is coming up, you're likely unequipping by doing so.
    Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.

    This. I'm so used to just flailing my screen all over the place that I didn't really pay attention where I right-clicked. After I found this out it has never happened to me again.
