In dungeons I do not seem to be able to control my character movement so that I see on screen what it 'sees' i.e. looking straight ahead from my character. How do I do this please. It always helps to see what is coming

You can't use first-person points of view in this game.. but you can zoom in to the max and then hold your right click and tilt until your character turns transparent... it gives the illusion of a first-person point of view.

Yes, if you are used to FPS games like Call of Duty (No, it's not the mission thing for fb's in the game), this view may be perfect for you. Unfortunately, you will not be able to see what is coming behind.

i do the full zoom-in quite often, because it helps keep the camera position more stable in tight quarters. less nausea-inducing to run through gateways in town, for instance. i keep track of things behind me with the minimap, either way.

Just in case you weren't aware, you can hold down the right mouse button and drag the mouse around to rotate your view left, right, up, and/or down.
