I'm confused... Range on our heal skills?

Hey, I just noticed something... Why do Metabolic Boost and Nature's Grace have range if they don't even work on other people? I tested them in squad and other random people, it didn't work, it only works on me (or am I doing something wrong???). The range increases as I level the skill... but what for? It's not like I'm 20 meters away from myself. If it does work on others, how? I select target but it still heals me... *is confused* o.o;

Also, I'm getting close to lvl79, is Myriad rainbow any good? It takes lots of mana so I'm not sure if I should get it. o.o; How useful is it in instances or during grinding?

And... Is that true soloing TT is totally useless because we get almost no drops? (solo mode). I don't want to TT until lvl83 (better pet heal, better gear).

Thanks in advance!

    I have always wondered that, in both Metabolic boost and Nature's Grace. They do not work on squad members and they still have a range. Perhaps it was a mistake that the developers did not take out. It certainly does not make sense that they put the range there.

    Myriad Rainbow in fox form is exceptionally good. If you have the money, get it. It's very helpful in AoEing in instances such as Frostcovered.

    And for TT, you can do solo mode if you want. Sometimes you might just get unlucky and end up with a bunch of crusades and mirages, but sometimes you might get some mats or maybe a gold mat. It depends, but solo mode is great for the experience. Not exp, but just your general experience in there trying to do everything yourself. But if you did not want to have potential loss, squad with friends for TT.

    Also, if you don't care about mana pot/yuanxiao cost, the caster form of myriad is good for when you're spam healing bosses. Normally when spam healing, you don't have enough time to cast a DD or debuff spell in between heals. But Myriad is instant cast, so pretty easy to squeeze in. You just have to watch your mana consumption and have pots/yuanxiao to replenish it. (You can do it with fox form myriad too, but the range is less, and the 20% smaller mana pool in fox form means you don't get as much mana from soul transfusion.)

    It *might* just be that the game programming requires a range to be entered for all skills (Does Soul Transfusion have a range? I wonder.), and so they just filled in a number to satisfy the programming. I'm not too sure about this theory, but it's the best I have.
