When you patch items in new versions it would be cool if you did not patch previous items that people made, prepatch items can become very valuable for trade

i think they're trying to say something along the lines of (using an example from the MY servers)

A while ago gold TT equipment didn't bind on equip but a patch changed them all to do so. The suggestion here would be to have the items that were created prior to the patch remain unbound and not bind on equip at any time in the future which would increase their value (as you can sell again when you finish with them) though how this would apply to recent or future patches i don't know.

i don't really have an opinion on the matter it's just how i understood the suggestion

if you ask me, the only TT gold equipment worth getting is the TT 99. your gonna be 99 or 100 for awhile, so you won't need to sell it, cause you'll still be using it for quite some time. considering you don't need any previous equipment to make tt90, which is need to make tt99 gold, then just make tt80 or molds, that you CAN sell. if you wear soulbound, you should be wearing for a long time, other wise its a waste of money
