Expel Thy Self in PvP

This concerns the use of the genie skill "Expel" in PvP.

I use Expel as a defensive skill on myself to make myself immune to physical damage. Its a reflex skill that I instinctively use when I'm attacked by fist BMs/sins or many archers. In the past, I had my protections set such that even if I have someone else targetted, be it someone in my faction, in my squad, not in faction, not in squad, white or red named, Expel would be cast on myself.

Recently, with the new updates, I find myself unable to set any combination of protections to allow me to do this (even with the Neutral Blessings box unchecked). My current PvP protections list is as followings:

[ ] Faction members
[ ] White name players
[ ] All

[X] If target is RED NAMED, buff is cast on yourself
[X] If target is not in your FACTION, buff is cast on yourself
[X] If target is not in your SQUAD, buff is cast on yourself
[ ] Block neutral buffs - Neutral Blessings can't be cast on yourself

Ultimately, my end goal is to have my protections set such that, if some sin were to pop out of stealth right beside me and started attacking me, I want to be able to immediately click on Expel and Expel myself even while I have him targetted. Apart from having to target myself first, then move my mouse down to click Expel, what configurations would allow me to do this?

Yea they completely facked it up. You cant even expel your own squad member if that box is checked. You hit the skill, it uses the energy and stamina and does nothing!! Doesn't cast on them or you. Pretty much what you have to do is click yourself then click expel, but by that time the sin will have you 6 feet under.

only thing i noticed ... am not longer able to expel other players in world pvp ---- before patch it was really easy ... just expel ur opponent ... he gets immune to phys attacks and unable to use skills --- was easiest way to protect urself vs sins and bms ......


didnt have any problems with expel on myself ---- have to check my settings --- nut am pretty sure i didnt change anything past patch ....
thus said ur setup should still work with expel ...



cant check it atm , as im not at my pwi comp , will check eventually tomorrow and let u know
