Ceberus Pup naming?

Is it just me or are the venos the only ones that can rename this pet?

I know that two of my veno friends have been able to but no one else I know has been able to do this.b:surrender

And yes I had a name under 8 characters and a collar to. I also tried it summoned and unsummoned too.

    Unsummon > Go to pet lady > buy collar > click rename pet > drag pet from pet bag into box > type new name > hit ok > tada

    I made it work o.o...

    Named mine S & M b:sin


    Best way to do it, go to the pet guy in east arch that is underwater. Buy the collar from him, and then hit P to bring up your pet bag, then re-click him after buying the collar, and chose "rename pet" and then drag the icon of the cerberus pet into the box that pops up after you chose the option of "rename pet", and then write the name you want (under 8 characters), and him "confirm" (or "done" whichever it is).


    That's how I got mine to work ^.^
