I see a lot of archers around lvl90 using Armor of the Assassin for the -.5 interval. I was wondering if this was really a good idea considering it's stats are failish. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Also, on a side note, I recently got Bracers of Abandonment from a friend. What shall I do with these? Do they sell well? Should I use em later?

    I opt for my rank 6 chest in place of TT99. Then again, I'm a 5.0 claw archer. However, it still is nice for when I use my bow in PK, etc.

    LA sucks really bad no matter which way you put it, so we have to aim for the bonuses such as interval. That's how I look at it.

    Personally, I'm planning to get Rank 4 armor instead of TT90.

    Armor of the Assassin hardly is "failish". Ok, you can only put Flawless Citrines in it and the refines kinda suck, but hey, it comes with -0.05 Interval, +dex, 3 sockets and +HP.

    At least in PvE, I'd consider Armor of the Assassin to be pretty darn good, because the little loss in resistances should be made pretty much useless by the additional -interval.

    Also, the life differences between TT90 and Armor of the Assassin are small, especially so because it's easy to bring Armor of the Assassin to 4 sockets, whereas TT90 will most likely be 2.

    And of course, if you're going for 5 APS, Armor of the Assassin is your cheapest -0.05 Interval option.

    Pretty much what Olba said. In PvE you'll kill most mobs before they get close enough for the lower defenses to matter. If you plan to PK you might want to find something else.

    I use tt90 chest in pk and the rank IV chest a part of my DD equipment. Even tho it s LA and LA sucks, i still notice a difference between the tt90 chest and the rank chest when someone is attacking me. Besides that, 0.5 makes me go from 0.8 atk rate to 0.83 which isnt that much of a difference and you re using skills more in PK.... but oh well, i'm sage, so you might as well completely neglect my opinion :D

    Well jeeze. I suppose since you insist we'll have to neglect your (actually accurate in terms of the defensive difference, especially when you take buffs into account) opinion.

    Youll want both a high def armor and a rank armor. Rank armor for DD obviously and a high def armor for tougher situations, like tanking a boss or tough mobs (like old moonshade). I myself have a lv 97 leg chest piece (cheap and highly useful) and my rank 4 chest.

    Say I want to focus on PvP, which would I focus on, DD or defense?

    First damage, since you can't defeat an opponent you can't actually kill. Then once you know you're a threat get the defense so that people don't just 1-shot you and move on to someone who can actually take a hit.
