A quick review of what happened recently:
- lower decomposition value of gear,
- lower price of dq items,
- facebook blessing,
- nien event for cash shopping high level players
- jolly thingy for the same ppl as above...
- almost forgot horns.
Yet i see the same bot farmer in forest of haze for over 2 months; many ppl multilog whole squads to farm instances, former gms use coin hacks.And what do gms: facebook click fest that ruins the game more.Devs give events that encourage u to gamble hundreds of dollars and 2 year glitches remain unfixed.
I wonder how long will the blessings last, cause they are so awesome.
You have a great product there, stop abusing it.

    um the jolly thingy(lol) isnt just for cashshoping people its made me alot of money so far just from picking up other peoples stuff they drop & buying the stuff off the nit wits who dont no they can npc for a higher price lolb:laugh

    How many packs at 100k can average player get - 20, 50, 200?
    I've always admired players that feed of others lack of information,keep up the good work.

    why spend coin when you can buy tokens to get the pack for cheaper so far today ive goten over 50 packs still havent goten anything i wnt but i allmost allways make bck what i spent on the tokens when i sell the candies to the npc plus buying the candies for cheaper then ther npc sell price helps lol

    ik what the point of the thread was but i was just responding to your posts & im not a smart seller im a smart buyer lol any who the only things on tht list of yours tht im pissed about is the DQ price drop & horns dont rlly care about the rest & also do you actually have proof tht its a former gm using hacks cus if you dont i wouldnt of posted tht

    This is nothing new that this game have get > b:fatb <.I doubt that topics as this...will change anything, since many people complaining about economy....and PW dosn't care about at all. On the end many people have get it, that '' PW glory days '' are over and look for new or upcoming mmorpgs..and i quess you should also do it if the game gets kinda unplayble for you b:victory

    This is getting pointless..
    I'm not taking about economy ingame.Nor i need tips how to benefit from event thats whole design is to suck up cash in any form.
    All the ppl that say anything in form of criticism get the same answer - leave if you don't like it.Well guess what - i like it and i play it,but i don't like the simplesided decisions that are made overnight.If you give the means ppl will exploit it - not that hard to guess.
    I'm saying there are far more important issues that have to be addressed before creating new ones for some cheap publicity.

    I do not like the decomposition thing, nor do I like the lower dq price, though I understand that that was related to botting on non-pwi servers which we are not supposed to talk much about here, and we have been promised compensation for that, though I am still waiting for an announcement about their plans here.

    The facebook blessing is interesting, and I think I understand it, though their initial implementation was buggy and I wonder if they can fix their bugs there (I imagine that they can but I also hope that they do it right -- by limiting facebook posts based on total blessings sent up to the current date -- multiple sends from your facebook account on the same day should count against multiple days).

    I know someone that regularly gets in the top 20 in the nein event, with unsharded random gear. And he will probably not reach level 100 any time this year. And, no, he does not use fists. The problem with the top 20 is that only a small number of people can reach that, so yes... people with good gear and high levels do have an advantage. On the third hand, people that can participate in every nein event also have an advantage, they just have a different advantage from people that have jobs.

    I think I understand the Jolly event, but I do not understand it well enough to describe it to you. So I will concede that point, for now.

    And they removed horns when they saw its implications, but to be fair they could not retroactively destroy horns. Fortunately horns destroy themselves when you use them, so that part of the problem was self correcting.

    Meanwhile, you did not even mention the new jumping mechanics (which, I think, will eventually be abused in conjunction with pvp -- with genies and without hacks, once people understand how it works).

    Nor did you mention anything on the other side of the fence, which might suggest a slightly different approach, going forward, on the issues you do mention.

    Anyways, I certainly think PWI has room for improvement, serious room for improvement. But let us face facts, here: your list also has some serious room for improvement.

    You seem to understand much but yet you cannot explain it...

    Here how things are:
    decomposition lowered - new quests and events already flooded market already - Fail;
    lowered dq price - we assume some ppl in CN version bot those,i do not play that - Fail;
    nien event - there no competition here,unfair from start - Fail;
    jolly event - ment to suck the new currency the tokens - so so, buy more packs;
    facebook blessing - double fail,its for you yet to see its effects.This is the worst cause it influence all game aspects.
    They fixed expel by removing its seal - soo,does it create new issue?
    Why should i bother proving boting and multilogging if noone cares?

    Do you get the picture now?

    They didnt remove the seal. All they did was add a filter to make yourself avoid being Expelled. If people use that "Screen Buff" filter (neutral buffs), they won't be able to be expelled, just like mobs can't.

    The problem is that this was made half-assed as well. When you select a mob then expel, it is like healing the mob: you get expelled, or you heal yourself, w/e. Which is the correct method. Now, instead, if people have that protection on, expel won't do anything at all but waste your genie's energy and stamina.

    PWI changes are based on the CN version.
    Name me a single competition that is fair in an MMO context. Your definition of a fair competition is meaningless because its an oxymoron.

    You select a target (like a mob). You hit it with something. You then notice it's closing up and doing massive physical damage, so you may want to expel yourself. You click on Expel and you do so.

    Now against a player, you have to select yourself first, otherwise you'd just waste your genie AND be dead meat (no expel). Just wondering, if you play a class with buffs or heals, do you select yourself before buffing or healing yourself?

    Why should it work differently against a player than against a mob?

    because the filter is optional,
    the other player might not have turned on(or off, you get the idea) this filter so there is still a chance of you casting on them.

    Without bringing other games in here it is:
    Horse race - fair,why? players have same advantage lvl 4x with a 11m ride can win over lvl9x with same,do we have contest - yes;
    Nien event - notfair,why? a lvl 4x cant beat lvl 9x player,do we have contest - no.
    Clear enuf?

    ok, a 11m/s ride is not that expensive but saying that the race it is fair because a player that spend more money can win....
    level IS an achievement and qualifies you for better rewards otherwise it wouldnt be a mmorpg
    at least you can still win in the nien without extreme cashopping
    btw i thought that the nien is for 50+

    and multilogging-by which i think you mean a player logging multi alts on more than one computer-is allowed. fair or not, is another matter altogether, since this is intended to be a game played with one character, not many.

    hoping to have anything fixed-no hope. this game will forever be 'free to play,pay to win', 'the one with the most IRL money wins'

    High lvl player with better gear win event.. whats wrong with that? So according to your theory should just let a lvl 40 win the event, and that will be all fair.

    As high lvl player we tends to need more coins, everything is expensive at high lvl. We hand down used armour/weapon down to lower lvl player at a discount to the money we spent to make those.

    High lvl player = better packs = higher ranking = more exp/sp and money

    Mid lvl player = average packs = mid lvl ranking = normal exp/sp/money

    Low lvl player = ok packs = low ranking = same as mid lvl exp sp money

    I dont know how is Nien event fail, no lag.. for 15mins work beats you solo for 1hr.

    Only old player can complain, I grind to lvl 101 without BH/FF/HYPER/ORCLE we farmed out TT99 sets before 1st ever packs. So why shouldnt people like us coming top 10 for nien.

    As for cash shopper.. they keep the game free so ppl like us can still enjoy even thru it's not that good as before. They come 1st, well so be it, they provide hrs of fun for me for free, so let them have some reward, I got no problem.

    They put in some stuff to test if you are "moving too much" (which seems to be when your local game says you should be moving in a fashion which the server has not agreed to) and when the new mechanisms kick in you do not move very much.

    This means you can achieve some incredible hang times or sometimes stop in the middle of the air over even the most minor of terrain features, by combining a lot of movement actions with jumping.

    btw, im not a cash spender, havnt spent a cent and i can still get a few hundred packs each event. though... i think im cursed. i havnt gotten anything but tokens. the normal tokens.

    It takes 2 minutes to make a facebook account...you don't even ever have to use it. So don't QQ over the blessings.. they are easy to get and don't cost anything.
