Account wont log in.

Ok, so my game randomly closed and gave me an error window. Now every time I log in the game runs for a few seconds and closes out. [I have tried it with and without force log, same result.] I restarted my laptop and it still does it. It is my account not the laptop, my wife can log on to her account just fine using the laptop still. So hers runs, but mine closes out as soon as it starts running. I have changed my password to be more complex, and still nothing.

Please help me before I throw my laptop b:cry

    You probably walked into a glitched area of the map. Send in a ticked have them move you to a different location.

    I was flying right over top secret passage/hidden orchid when it happened. I was auto pathing down to raging tides elder from haunted path.

    Yea, there are glitched spots. Happened to me while I was doing world quest.069.gif

    Well this sucks. How long does it normally take to fix? I don't want to leave my faction longer than I have to.

    Well, at least it isn't someone I upset trying to get into my account and eat all my cookies.

    I fixed it by logging in over and over until I finally logged in enough times that I hit the ground, took me a while to get out of that glitch though. Thanks for letting me know about the glitched areas. b:laugh

    And NEVER fly at 78 height over the master bladescraftsman in shinning tidewood, that is where I was when I finally hit the ground. in fact, it did it once even after I was on the ground.

    sames happening to me but i logged in and it was going crazyyyyyyy speeds then i relogged to fix it and now it says unable to connect logs in 2 seconds then back out D:? im in heavens tear

    The same exact thing happened to me, in the same place! Some place near the Master Bladecrafter. Have to be careful next time.

    From what I can tell the quickest way to fix it is if you was flying just keep logging in and falling until you leave that spot. If you are on the ground log and try to run away from that spot until you are away from the area. It takes a bunch of times logging in over and over, but it is quicker than waiting for a ticket to have your character moved. I know I'm going to avoid that area completely now.

    Here is how we fix it when it happens to us. This happened to me back in 2008 when I was in QA, and it took me awhile to figure out what was going on.

    Please log in with your character. When the loading screen appears, press and hold the W key. When the game loads, your character should be running. The error message will still appear, but continue holding down W until your character has run beyond the spot where your game crashed. Restart the game and you should be able to play as normal. You may need to run the game in windowed mode for this to work. If your character was flying at the time, you will probably need to restart the game and try again after he lands.

    If that doesn't work, go to the Launcher screen, go to Settings, and turn ALL of the Settings to the left, to be OFF and un-check (turn off) all of the graphic settings.

    Select Windowed mode, and choose a default resolution like 800x600, or 1024x768 (or whatever works for you from the list.)

    Then attempt to Start the game, select the character that was giving you the issue (and crashing to the desktop with an error log screen showing up) and see if you can get in game after making those changes.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    Yep, as DarthPanda instructed, try running the Launcher and changing all graphical settings to the absolute minimum. Then try booting up and logging in.
