Should I leave this skill at lvl7? I heard that it is because the 10 second cooldown times up PERFECTLY with many boss's casts.

    no, max it because your gonna anyway if you want sage/demon of it, and on the boss skill timing it still cooldown in time

    i still have mine at 7, and while its not perfect, it is close and that helps...I would not mind maxing it except im always short on money and spirit due to all the other demon skills I wanted first.

    Max it. You will run into bosses that have a quicker cast. Just learn to time it, you'll be fine.

    Mines at 7 and I'll keep it at 7 till I need to change it no point in maxing it out till I need to as I only use it for gaining chi and canceling no point in making it harder for my self.
