PvP (PK) QQ, Why is it so bad?

Pretty sure it has to do with ego though. Everyone wants to believe they're an unbeatable beast that's feared by the entire server. Of course, when you kill them, it kinda shatters that dream for them, doesn't it?

Just today, some guy attacked me at West archo. I came back and AOEd him (not for revenge but just because...well wtf I'm bored. I just wanna fight and he started a fight, so ok xD), and a red name that was standing near him dies in one shot. Two seconds later, the dude is on his alt account messaging me and saying "Good job. You've just made my PK list. Enjoy being dead all the time."

Lemme clarify: that was the red name standing NEAR my fight that said that; not the guy I specifically went after after he killed me. I never intended to kill him, but sadly the game doesn't have a way (at least, to my knowledge) to only AOE one singular red and not whichever reds happen to be there. As a Psy, I'm also going to start my assault with my stunner, which happens to be an AOE.

And c'mon, listen to his message. Does that sound arrogant or what?



So yeah, that's my theory. The people who get offended have ego issues, and they live in a fantasy world where they're this PK god. The rest of who just don't give a **** think "well it's not like I lost EXP and now I don't have to fly to town, tf I wish people killed me more often."

Mmm yeah, that's what an AoE is.... Herpa derp, same applies for PvE "Hurr Durr I only wanted to AoE one mob now I'm dead."

Here is how I see it...

I RPK a lot. I will go to every zone from 30-80 and clear out any arcane or LA people that I see, HA if they are below 70. I will only kill people once per day unless they give me serious tongue. What I have found is

For white names:
40% will say nothing at all and just release.
30% will say; You suck, noob, looser, get a life... or something like that. just in plain chat.
10% will ether say lol, make a laughing face or say something cute but not rude.
5% will PM me being really nice and wanting to be friends or ask me questions.
5% Will mass spam me with death threats and obscenities
5% Will PM me for a duel so they can have a fair fight.
5% Will tel me i'm now KOS by there fac and will die a million times a day. (Never been killed by a fac that apparently has me on KOS)

For pink/light red names this is what happens:
65% mass spam me with death threats
10% say nothing and release
10% say something like lol or joke around
10% say something rude in normal chat then release.
5% will want a say in KOS by fac

Red names tend to be like this:
80% say nothing and release
10% joke around and don't make a big deal about it
5% say something rude and release
5% spam me death threats


So for the most part, the vast majority of people do not get overly pissed when PKed and rarely ever freak out unless they are pink or light red. I take this to mean that whites realize they are on a pvp server and just take it. Dark reds also realize they deserve it and don't complain. But, light red names tend to think its ok for them to do it, but if anyone ever touches them, it is 100% BS (<---- the vast majority of players in this range are the immature young teens on a power trip IMO)

Why ppl shouldn't have right to QQ? I found myself in all groups you've posted about. It just depends on day. Sometimes I ay thank you and sometimes i say bugger off. Why you complain about that I complain .....? IMHO ppl have same right to throw few words at you as you have to PK them.
