    Well if you joined 1 year ago you should f got it ages ago. Why has this come up now?

    Basically, you don't. The anniversary mount was given to people who joined in the "early days", although I don't know when they handed them out and what the exact conditions were. To my knowledge, it was a one-time thing.
    Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng

    1) Take a time machine back to Oct. 2008 and start playing PWI right after its launch.
    2) Fast forward to Oct. 2009 and check your mailbox.
    3) Profit (or not, since they're non-tradeable.)
