Soulforce calculations

This probably belongs in the archer forum (lol). Anyway, is there a formula that shows
1. the relationship between Soulforce and the % chance for Soul of Silence?
2. how exactly Soulforce is calculated? I know the first part is (Lvl^2)+(Lvl*50), but there's still some mystery stuff left over from refine bonuses I can't figure out.

    How would this belong in the archer forum? And the additional calculation is relative to gear refine, which Ecatomb clarifies somewhere in this forum...

    Although it doesn't seem to ever be totally clarified, thanks. It looks like they're on the way to it.

    And how'd you make it to 101 without finding out the Archer forum is the domain of math? b:chuckle

    I only pay attention to the class forums when either A: I need help with figuring out effective combinations of skills or some other tidbit of help or B: I feel I may have some tidbit of knowledge to impart to those learning the skills.

    Considering my archer skills are passable (not a pro archer though) neither really applied, I also never look at the veno forums (passable), the bm forums (hate playing bm), the wizard forums (wizard not up to the point that I'd need pointers yet), barb forum (eh, only ever use it to tank and can hold aggro against higher levels/weapons than mine), or the assassin forums (would if I pk'd with my sin)

    As I rarely play my cleric anymore, I don't drift in there much either... so, TADA, Psychic forums are stuck with me until they introduce a summoner type class or I move on.
