Decomposing ☆☆☆ items

In the latest patch notes, it states that level 60+ ☆☆☆ items now decompose to Perfect Stones instead of Mirages. However, according to the new Perfect World Encyclopedia, and the actual ingame decomposition window, it's in fact level 60- ☆☆☆ items that decompose to Perfect Stones, with level 60+ decomposing to mirages as before.

    Happens to me too. I went to check how much I would get from my 3* fists, and it shows only mirages. Maybe it's only new drops? And what about crafted OHT?

    well.... partly true. 60+ DO still give mirage. looked at my archer's lvl 73 pants i got waiting, 2 mirage... under 60 is still f'ed...... Did they even DO this part of the patch? i bought a lvl 37 3* cape (Cloak of Blaze) for 15k. One of Qingzi's drops. can't decomp it to anything! (as usual). And yes i did repair it.....

    Here's the stuff I've taken a look at so far:
    ☆☆☆ Gentleman's Amulet (L55 PDef belt) - 10k fee, 30 Perfect Stones
    ☆☆☆ Raintaker Hat (L51 MP hat) - 10k fee, 30 Perfect Stones
    ☆☆☆ Hermit's Cape (L57 cape) - 10k fee, 30 Perfect Stones
    ☆☆☆ Serrated Wing War Vest (L60 LA chest) - 15k fee, 60 Perfect Stones
    ☆☆☆ Boots of Fortune (L56 LA boots) - 10k fee, 30 Perfect Stones

    I think that's all the sub-60 3-star items I've got on hand, will check other alts and edit them in later.

    edit: Added 2 more to the list. Also, looking at the Encyclopedia, it seems that only ☆☆☆ items in the level 40-60 range decompose to Perfect Stones.

    ok.... lvl 36 arcane boots... couldn't get anything from them either.

    lvl 42 Dragonscale neck 3* fully repaired - 30 perfect stones.

    lvl 73 light pants, 2 mirage still


    So anything Qingzi drops or lower is still junk and useless unless it's got good stats... 40's to 60 gives you perfect stones, 60+ still gives mirage. Wish the patch notes werent' so badly written/translated... this actually isn't bad at all (cept the stuff under 40 being useless).

    on HT the fee is greater then the value of the chi stones, and 60+ are still nerfed to mirage, so huge fail

    It seems kinda strange that TWO star items tend to decompose into a lot more total chi than 3star items. You'd think the 3stars would give a lot more... /boggle

    And a lot of 3stars (pre60 and post60 are still decomposing into mirages or nothing at all...)

    yea ive still noticed 60+ 3*s are still decompin to just 2 mirages with varing price 10-20k though mirage count doesnt change (on HT)

    ok. we'll say it again... they screwed up the patch notes. they put a + where there should have been a - (as in 60- or 60 and under). gear under 40 still gives nothing, lvl 40-60 gives u the P Stones, 61+ still gives mirages.

    That's awesome. So if you have 3 star items below lvl40, you can just sell them to NPC. This is rediculous, because you can decompose 1 and 2 star items into stones, and you can't do this with 3 star items lvl40-. It's so stupid b:angry

    Well, the only way to make 2-stars is via crafting. You can't get them as free drops. So presumably there is no exploit to free riches via 2-stars like there was with 3-stars.

    I'm having that same problem with every 3 star drop i have under Lv 60 =/

    read what i posted AFTER i posted THAT...... lol it's fine actually, (ignoring the nerfed amount of mirages u get now). Cept the fact that 40 under u get zilch. On a off note..... i threw my clerics FB 19 weapon in my stash and decomp'ed it on this toon, got 2 mirages lol.

    And b4 u think to make new toons over and over and get them to 19 to get free mirages.... besides the week wait to delete toons... that'd take awhile.
