    Hmm wonder what the guilds fighting for it actually were, Union_fr, was there actually much else? Tao nor Rad couldn't hold it as well as Union anyhow. Besides that, just a warning, you can't get rank 8 without paying alot coins/rl money. Scratch FBs, with which I am sure MsE happily agrees. Only imaginable way outside tokens atm would be doing trophy mode... but even there most likely paying to your squad to have all rep yourself, adding the cost quite high.

    Noone "earned" rank 8. I remember MsE had either just gotten, or was just shy of rank 6 when the 1st Anni packs came out. So there may be a few who "earned" rank 6, but noone acheived rank 8 without buying/tokening the rank badges.

    I guess this "earned" word all depends on what people define it as. To me, Missy "earned" her rank 8 because she didn't cash shop or purchase zen to get it. It was all from her in game coins which she had "earned" regardless of whether she bought or used tokens to get rank badges.

    and Daji and Hygea didnt merchant etc for the cash? Well not everyone is a major cash shopper to get it.. Could be luck from packs *points at myself* + merchanting etc that can give you a lot of coins trough 1 year of playing. I know several people that have like 3-5 catshops up 24/7.. So some earn their money that way.

    I had around 36-37k rep before I spent in-game coins to get the remaining rep for rank 8.

    Back before anni packs came out, I was one of 3-4 people who had rank 6... ahhh the days of FB farming and the fight for room 1- room 1 got a *lot* more FBs than the other rooms below it

    I'm just saying, Rank 8 was meant to be like one of the most prestigious honors in the game.

    Referring to a person who cash shopped their Rank as "prestigious" is like saying people who farmed noob kills at west gate and sp are good PKers.

    To me, earning rank 8 is never using the dungeon quest or tokens. Including any and all rep badges gotten from tokens.

    If you buy dogtags or whatever, that's just fine. As long as they were never created with tokens.

    I had rank 5 before tokens came out.

    Think there's someone who posts on these forums (from another server) who had in their sig something about 100% farmed rank 8. I lol every time I read it. The extent some people go to impress anonymous pixelfolk (in this case by making up ****) never ceases to amaze.

    Rank 8 isn't bad though (minus for bm's and barbs, for which it's a complete waste), even if it isn't farmed. I'm not a holier than thou person so I won't give **** to people who ponied up the rl cash or coin farming for it, but to say it was farmed is 100% bull and merits that person being laughed at and/or made fun of.
