Hyper EXP Stone Change

Removed the 1 min penalty for pausing Hyper EXP time.

Hyper EXP can now only be activated up to a total of 10 times per day. After the 10th activation, you will need to wait until the next day to re-activate it.

Me, i dont think its too too bad. Just gotta be more conservative in FC with your hypers ;D

    Its hard to say really. We cant tell PWE's intentions for this change.

    It could also be beneficial in a sense for PWE. If people are unable to pause the hyperstones, they will last a shorter amount of time in a sense. Thus, will need to purchase more to use. This may or may not benefit PWE in terms of $$$.

    TBH I think they are hoping it will increase them. People were turning them on and off for bosses only, now they can only do that 10 times. So I imagine PW thinks people will leave them running more often > used quicker > more sales.

    Now wether people will do that or not is another matter

    Wow I'm actually gonna say this is one awesome patch . Finally PVE just got a bit more challenging . This should help separate the good players from the bad ones a bit better .

    Um it didn't say you couldn't pause it I dunno where you got that it just said there is no longer a penalty for pausing it.
    But you can only pause it 10 times per day...

    It is awesome imo

    Stops the leveling freaks who overuse hypers and doesn't hurt me at all, on the contrary. Since I run 2-3 FC runs per day max and only hyper big pulls & heads (and sometimes the mobs before Asoteric Runewolf) it won't hurt me but the no min used on activation penalty sounds awesome XD

    I can see why it's called a nerf, I can see some of the intents and purposes from profitability to the notion of "abuse" as some put it. While it might drive down sales of hypers, hypers will still always be used and useful, so just something people are going to have to get accustomed to.

    Which is why I edited post right after posting it, realized they meant it that way, I read it as being able to start 10 sessions per day

    BHs are still there, and pampered tideborn gears. So is crazy stone...


    I think starting from LVL60 crazy stone quest should be allowed at least, and they have to give 5 different immac element shards for 5% exp

    LVL80 is perfect element shards for 1% exp

    LVL90 is gem element for 0.2% exp


    Head hunter needs to die. No more BH quests

    Tideborn gear needs nerf, tuna fesh are too pampered

    Bosses need to have increased defenses and channeling speed, more life, sacrificial. Effects happening more often in PVE, now that will be cool

    Then the game will be back to normal

    Whether this change is good or bad, I can't help thinking that the timing of it is borderline criminal. They just finished a week long sale on Hyper Stones, and now they pull this bait and switch ... "Oops, sorry, we forgot to tell you, but those things you just bought last week? Yeah, they don't really do what we said they did. Oh well."

    Funny, 10 times is nearly exactly the number I usually activate hyper in an FC run to get the maximum benifit.

    This seems like a move not to slow leveling, but to sell more hypers to the people who want to level the absoulute fastest. These are often the people spending the most money anyway. If you want to do more than one Frost run per day you'll need to leave hyper activated longer in places, or lose that oh so precious exp.

    Most of the newer players, ones still using Frost to hyper\level only run until the 7th boss or "exp" room anyway.

    A ton of others only hyper everything with over 1 mil hp and the "exp" room.

    My guess? Groups running FC until the 'xp' room then remaking 10 times or as many per day as they can. "Get the most" out of your hypers, so to speak. More closed instance leveling = amazing. Right?

    The other consequence? Third past just became interesting again.

    I would use these to get "over the hump" of leveling and now they pretty much ***** slapped that. I used to get 5 hypers and was able to run 5 times that day. Now I have to span this out multiple days that I really wont be able to afford the time to do.

    I think hypers should only be able to get used at level 85 starting with 10 activations per day. After that the activates per day should start to increase for your level bracket. At 90 - 15; 95 - 20; 100 - unlimited

    This part of the update = fail :\

    its fine by me i only hyper 4-5 times per run so i can run it 2x and save 10mins for another 2 runs.. so if i think i got that right im makin more exp out of only do 2 runs per day..anyway thanks great update

    not everyone really geeks out and sits in frost for 5 runs per day.. i think you have a hyper/crack problem...
