Availability of Skill(books)?

Hi,

I know im only 69 atm but i would like to plan ahead and i've started saving for my 79 skills but i doubt i will be able to get at least 1 of them since there are no apo pages on the market. Furthermore all sage nukes are cube items which is rly annoying because i dont think i can do the cube as wizard without having Uber gear.

can you plz tell me how it is possible to get access to the higher lvl skillbooks from sage/demon culti? Are there no apo pages on the market?

I was planning to become sage to support my guild in TW even if it will limit my pvp abilities further but i prefer going for mass pvp instead of 1v1 because there im completely useless anyway compared to other classes. But what is a sage wiz without the 99 ultis? So what can i do to get access to the skills / items for skillbooks ?

PS: i thought about buying the 10 sage skill package for 300 adv mystical pages it should be a good deal isnt it?

Cube won't be a problem at 9x, just farm that a while and you'll end up with the pages you need for some 99 skills. Sage does not gimp you at all for 1v1, both cultivations are great, just have a different playing style. I don't know how it is on dreamweaver, but LC usually has a number of overpriced skills in the AH.. you may want to try buying tokens and making a few of your own skills.. and when you have like half you might try buying off others. Just my 2 cents.

i heared that cube is impossible to finish uncharmed as mage maybe i just have to postpone cube until im 90+ lately i saw someone selling 1 old book page 300k each but its hard for me to compare it with costs for finishing the cube

i checked skill prices in AH and i have to say the price differences are huge. I agree that with 4500 tokens i might overpay some of the 10 skills i get in the bundle at book merchant but i guess overall i will be better off because there are 2 advantages a) 10 different skills are guaranteed so there is no gamble + b) some of them might be hard to get when buying one by one.

Actually I was wondering this same thing. I'm kind of scratching my head when I look at the prices in AH since there's idiots who ask for outrageous prices and there's jerks who pay them. It's hard to know when going to the market for the first time on something like skill books.

I work full time and am planning my wedding, so I don't want to spend my little time farming. What would you guys say is the cheapest way? Them tokens seem to cost 1k more every day from cat shoppers and their lousy inflation rates. So I'm weighing buying tokens or buying the skills straight out from AH. What would you Harshlanders say about the subject in our economy?

If you know what a proper price is for any of the books, please enlighten me. I'm going demon and already acquired pyro and gush.

You do not need a charm to pass cube.. although it does help in pk rooms (duh) and the final stand room... but if you have like 4k hp at 90 (which is super low) you can just heal/pot your way through. Get an hp buff and just heal your way through... though if neither of those works... you can just use an ironguard pot and force log, when you come back in the center should stop AoE'ing until the next person comes in (where you might be screwed xD). Cube is not a difficult instance by any stretch of the imagination. Anyway, if I were to do it all over again, I'd probably try my luck with the mysterious pages.. and being that basically any skill would be useful, get about half my skills that way, then use AH to find the rest.

i agree with previous post.

i grinded out the half of ultis (2, and another 2 bought, 1 misssing-the seal), not big deal really with +3 eq toojust need a bit luck else instead half hour u can stay there few hours (how i hate when must dig 100 box or got more times the prison and back to prison rooms XD)

overlall u get in cube mysterious chip too what could be usefull for few tt eq like wrist.

(and few lucky ppl take nice profit with luck there xD)

Hint: before u enter after 90, try ask from others buff's and start with full buff's :P

Cube is super easy for me now. Even 47 last 100s stand is easy with genie ToP. But what pissed me off is pk room, Usually nobody there so I spent there 20m for nothing or use teleport or suicide and start again and get again pk room.b:angry
But you must do cube for page of fate(99 skills) or buy it, there are nowadays quite expensive.

The reason is that people nowadays make apocalypse pages with tokens. 18 tokens of luck can be traded at a PW Boutique Agent for 5 apocalypse pages. This way is usually much cheaper than buying them from "the market" because people who sell them do it either overpriced, or slightly overpriced when they made with tokens (to make a profit).

Or you can farm fb89s or TT1-3 for drops (I believe), though it is rare and squad distribution makes it even worse. Unless you have friends I suggest you just do other stuff you know can give you money, and buy tokens to make pages.

Good luck getting your lvl79 skills first. Worry about your sage skills later.

thats right but at least the masteries and ss and glacial snare are in it. I know cube is the only way to get " old book pages" which are required for the ultis

while u can sit in the corner aoe 1shot all mobs with phoenix and heal urself :P

archer and stabbie fish have problems too there (?)


30 times cube room 50 = 1 random 99 skill ;/ (hope for dragon :P?)
cost ****loads of coin, all i say is "got 1 sadness card.","Pay to pass"

venos there force logout and they survive easily :P

archer (then i think sin/psy too) survive without problem without go out after 90 with charm (exclude 47, there need more hp but with goodhp u could do).

in 9card rooms i sell the cards(idk if here worth to sell ) and teleport back and start again. mainly the 1coind lucky box room what leech allways my money (avarge result for me 19/20 is 1 gold card) XD
