Sin With HA for PK?

I want to know if their was like some way to use heavy armor and still do alot of damage, something like a claw BM, like just enough str for heavy armor and rest into dex? I've been on pwcalc and I can't decide if it should be 5str, 5dex or 6str 4dex or 5str 4dex 1vit, I don't think the last one would work because we need the points into dex, but the 5/5 i don't know about. I was thinking maybe 6dex 4str, This probably wouldn't be enough for Heavy Armor, or just under, maybe if I got some str adds, and such.
So is Heavy Armored Sin really worth the hassle, or should I just go back to being squishy and using 100pots for 1 quest ^_^?

This is about PK or saving 100HP pots in quests?

Anyways you only will have decent damage in HA with highly refined weapon, if you can afford that you can also make a decent LA build.

i heard a rumor that fist/claw aside from bm will we capped to not 5 hps.

the cap isnt changing. "supposedly" they are making fists/claws BM specific though. still not sure if this is true or not.

sins can still get 5 APS with daggers. archers still have amazing DPS with a bow due to higher damage on the bow.

my point is what if devs make sure only claw/fist only can get 5 hps i mean dps god
and rest with 4 dps if ppl still wana get int gear what then.
there is already such a rumor and beside a sin whos main skill are about spamming and now talking about dps.
really dont u think its stupid.
we all knew why ppl did try dps in fist as there is no real good spamm skill on fist/claw
now dagger is wholy oposite all skill goes 2 hit slow do OP damage per slow spamm skill
maybe dev wana change so fist bm can actually get what they wanted i mean its from them ppl started doing that after hatting their weak skill 2 beging with.

i for one hope devs change it so weapon like claws and fist get their true name lol

claw/fist arent the only things that can reach 5APS. daggers can reach 5 aps. a sin can also skill spam, that still wouldnt reach the dps they do even at 4APS.

a bow shooting at 1-1.25 APS is pretty impressive DPS too.

sins arent all about skill spamming either. they have a choice, much like BM's have a choice. if the devs wanted sins to be skill spammers, they would have made daggers base speed .8 APS and giving us higher damage on the daggers.

As things are now, i think sin can get much higher dps than a fist bm can. b:surrender
Look up some of the stats on the best sins and compare them to the best fist bms.

explaining: a sin wearing the best interval end game gear, can get 5aps when demon sparked, considering the higher atk per hit of a dagger (that is higher than aph of fist/claw), the dps of a sin is very higher than a BM... b:bye

uhm yes we can survive, the dps is what will help make you survive. high dps = faster death of the mob = less dying for sins, also there is BP that will aid in survival at level 34+

Usually due to Bloodpaint, I will be able to take about 4 hits from a boss without Cleric heals or pots. If I can survive a boss for 4 hits, where are you getting the idea of an Assassin dying in 2 hits? At 5 APS, you might as well hand the tanking duty over to me and just let the Barb DD, because Bloodpaint and heals will be more than enough to keep me alive at that speed, as well as maximize the damage of the entire squad as a whole, seeing as no one will need to limit themselves.

Basically, please learn a little bit about the class before you decide to post with such a statement. Usually an avatar means nothing on these forums in terms of showing experience, but you are an exception to that rule.

havent we had this discussion so many times already? >.> with dps just because the bm is hitting faster dosent mean its doing more damage. since the sins have a much higher crit rate and skills that increase how much damge they do when they do crit most sins have better dps than a fist bm the same lvl or even a few lvls higher. and sins can reach 5 hps >.> cost a crapload of money but they can do it.

lol i wouldnt go so far as to say that we should tank and the barb should dd but we are very cappable of surviving bosses. bloodpaint + focus mind+ribstrike has made it possible for me to solo a lot of bosses
