Same-sex relationships

I know, there have been massive quantities of threads for this before. Rest assured, I'm not an idiot that can't type.

I think that same-sex relationships should be allowed. A little bit of history about myself, bare with me, to give insight on my reasoning.

I've been **** for almost thirteen years now. Simply because I don't like girls. This is yet again, one of the many games where it feels like **** are being suppressed. I'm sure I'm correct in my thinking that PWI is not against same-sex relationships, but if not **** marriage, then at the least implement the ability for same-sex embrace.

If there are any questions on 'Well, who holds who?', I think I have a rather simple answer (though I am NOT a coder, so I don't know exactly how complicated it might be). When the 'Embrace' command is issued, instead of doing a gender search, instead have the character who issued the command be the one holding, the one receiving the one held.

I, personally, don't see how same-sex marriage would be complicated to implement. In fact, I think it would be simpler then the embrace.

    Yes, and I would appreciate it if you didn't troll my topic to get your jollies. If you are unable to do that, I would kindly ask you to not post in this topic without giving a valid argument as to why it shouldn't be implemented. Thank you.

    Also, it will nvr be implemented because it is based on another culture that does not condone this type of behavior.

    Okay, how many times do we have to go through this? No, it will not happen, and if by some odd chance it does, I will eat my hat. (Which I do not own one, but I will happily buy one and eat it for this case.) The Chinese invented this game. Did you EVER hear of the DEVS (developers)? Well they are CHINESE. And Chinese people do. not. support. ****. marriage. **** as in ****, bisexual, or plain ole` ****. Yes, this is PWI (Perfect World International) and yes, the majority of us accept **** for what they are and stuff, but the Chinese, who are writing the codes for this game, do not. Therefore, there is about a 99.98% chance that it will NEVER be developed. Unless the dev's decide to toss away all their morals about life and implement the option to marry the same sex.

    Which will never happen.

    You must be oblivious to the political happenings as they take action within China. Homosexuality is becoming increasingly more open, and unless the developers are willing to openly say: "We are **** bashing chinese, deal with it and gtfo out game," you can be ready for an entire slew of these topics. Even then, they will not stop just because people with to much time on their hands thinks they are the be-all-end-all of suggestions.

    The chinese might be writing the down and dirty codes, but that does not mean the international server adminstration can't jump in and decide to make a minor tweak. Sure, it takes a bit of coding know-how. But I'm sure there are thousands of coders that are willing to make that happen.

    Then again, I could be mistaken by the fact that this is the international version, which means that we don't have to oblige by chinese rules. If that's the case, I'll willingly stop this discussion immediatly.

    Your misconception, PWI have to oblige by PW-beijing. They can't edit as they please. They can even make a decision on gold price drop on boutique items.

    I'm quiet sure my above college level reading level is able-enough to understand the words which are typed. However, the debate fell between bumping a topic from page 4 or starting a new one. Take your pick, genius.

    And by and by, they have **** and are modled after a female. I think it goes without saying they look as much like females as the creator makes them. Quiet a difference in origin, though both have the same end.

    To whoever stated that the administration must abide by PW-Beijing; I think you for having enough brains to actually understand the final section of my last post. That is cleared up now, so I'm aware of who to get in contact with. Thank you.

    To OP: It's okay if you don't like girls. But just by common sense, if all these threads that you OBVIOUSLY read have not been taken into consideration and nothing about this issue has been resolved, why post another one?

    Power in numbers, SerenityMare. Should the Pw-Beijing administration look here, and realize that they are going to loose several thousand members, who many or many not pay to purchase boutique items, I'm sure they will want to keep those thousands of dollars in their pocket.

    lol... are these the same several thousand who obviously would rather just play a FANTASY game without forcing real life issues into it and who have NOT immediately all posted in response to this thread because they realise this is a GAME and you play with what you are given.

    it has already been explained why it won't happen in the foreseeable future. I appreciate your position however I think in this case you are flaying the epidermis from a deceased equine

    I think they should implement this so people can kill monsters and look at glowing equipment in a way which is more tolerant to **** people, I mean, since this is real life and we're living in 2010.

    well it is fairly obvious that Polearm and Guarnob are in a loving and stable, if unconventional relationship - so PWI are already answering these concerns

    Okay, this has nothing to do with difficulty. It's a cultural issue, China doesn't allow this so neither does the game. If you want same sex marriages ingame go to some other game that allows it.
