I really feel to create this thread. People asking for things to be easier these days... started with CS -_-"

Please reconsider about:

Rebirth having no level limits
Easier pet leveling
More 2x events
ETC,

Please do not try to ask for cube to be easier either

You have your dailies and oracles and hypers for you already. No need for anymore plvling things

Thanks for reading.

    Fuzzy would almost agree...

Many many many many many many ppl QQ about how easy it is to obtain end game gear from the packs these days. Is this a bad thing most instances have been nerf'd and u can get something with a right-click? Not in this panda's opinion.

It may very well be easy to get end game gear now. Can't disagree.

But why do people feel that detracts from their ability to farm it an feel a sense of pride? Fuzzy is about 3 days away from farming a cube necklace. It takes time, effort and a coin investment yes. 30 days of advanced cube as well as chips and tokens (or TT mats) to make the warsoul frags.

Me also working to farm a set of Frost of Sign Chaos rings from Lunar. Time consuming, kinda.... coin sink, no question. Impossible? Not even close.

Makes Fuzzy sad to see people constantly complain about instances being made easier and crying about end game gear in packs.

Just because you can get it from a pack doesn't make it impossible to get from working for it.... or make it easier to get if you farm for it.

Who cares if someone with a +12 visa has an end game piece of gear you want. If you do choose to work for em it is still hard to get and worth the time/coin investment.

Not every instance as been nerf'd an if you want it you can still work for it. Just because its easy for some to get doesn't make it easy for everyone and shouldn't detract from your sense of accomplishment when you do finally farm it.

Fuzzy farmed his entire set of Lunar HA so far and is half way to a set of Cascade Glow Nirvana HA.... just becuse some buy all the uncanny chests on the server ain't gonna make me feel any less proud once Fuzzy has it because FOR SOME it is easy to get.

    b:thanks

Tch, gone are the times where you'd TT/Lunar/Nirvana with your faction every day for weeks just to get your higher leveled guys proper gear....grinding hotspots for DQ's for cash to buy crappy shards....to make awesome shards....

And besides, chances are by the time you get all your endgame gear.... >:3 that cash crutching noob you saw with the +12 refined? He/She will already have been bored with the game, and thus...

They just wasted X amount of money on a game they got bored with at the tail end. Very few of the high leveled cash shop noobs ever make more than one character. People who spend X amount of cash on Hyper Stones, etc. level so fast and miss almost all of the game except for the "fun parts" at the end. So they never understand the pride you get when you FINALLY grind all through your quests and hit level 90...WITHOUT Oracles.....or when you earn enough money to buy that mount you've always wanted.

(And they RARELY understand their classes, or their characters. Want an example? I met a 75 Assassin who didn't know what an instance was. Boy, you sure afe Pro, aren't you? b:laugh)

It's just laziness. If you're a decent person, you won't do it. You know what I use my CS money for? Iron Hammers. I give them to my faction members. That's all. The rest of my CS gear was passed down or given to me, because members of my faction believed I'd worked hard enough to earn them. REAL work will get you far. Maybe not as fast as those lazy Cash Crutcher noobs.....but at the end, you know who'll feel more accomplished.

hes right. people keep on asking for more and more items and events that make it easier to lv up. if you want a no brainer leveling game, go play JD. intelligent people prefer a game that makes them plan things, build things, earn what they have, instead of it being spoonfed by cash shop owners

As for PW, being a high level makes me think of generations of gamers.

Generation 1: They played the beta, or joined early. They suffered like hell and are true models.

Generation 2: They got a hard and an easy part, as the game developed things that gave more easiness.

Generation 3: They got everything handed to them, grinding is truly optional, you can use experience in packages... Spend real money to get what you want without lifting a finger much. WTF?

one day i asked a FC squad to tell me when to activate hypers. They looked at me like I was some kind of freak.
One told me "you must be playing for years"
"One and a half almost on this server, close to two if you count other versions" i said.
    Was funny.

I don't mean to burst your bubble, but I doubt the people that you're referring to as the Cash Crutcher noobs really care about "feeling acoomplished." So in all honesty, you might as well be preaching to a brick wall.

I'm not saying that I disagree with you, because I enjoy slowly working toward my goals as well. I don't have any in-game partners that help me, like a husband or anything - he quit; so I've been soloing TT's with my veno to obtain coins to level up her manufacturing skills (which I accomplished), obtained certain materials to manufacture my cleric's gears (which I've only accomplished her boots and weapon so far), and then eventually shard and refine those gears. Even though my glass is still only half full, I'm proud of what I've been able to accomplish so far, so in that sense you are right.

But like I said, those that don't care about feeling accomplished won't be bothered with hard work. I think they see the game as a silly game's definition where "work" and "stress" doesn't belong. Which I can understand that, for an example - who wants to work in a game if a game's purpose is to have fun, right? But even so, the work we see here are the challenges, and the challenges for us is what makes this fun. Those that pay to get right past the challenges isn't a challenge at all - so of course they'll get bored quicker and probably quit after making one character like you said.

If it were just for fun, I have other games.

I see PW like a challenge. Working on it and that, like Zikai said. And that is more fun when it's a mmo, so there are other players to compete with.

Maybe I'll never get the best gears and weapons and so. But I'll try, with my own efforts and that. And my bro and sis also play, so we can help each other for farming mats on TTs and so for our own gears, and let the random squads just to obtain coins.

    Btw, I'm second gen... :(
Just joined a year ago. Would be here since the beginning if I knew what a mmo was back there (and the existence of this game too). =/

I'm second gen. and overall I miss what this game was like when I first started. Though I mainly only got a taste of it. But pretty much anything you work for in this game. Has and will be bought by cash shoppers who put no effort into it. and it does kinda take away some of the accomplishment.

    1st Gen here as well.

Hey, don't forget that the 1st gen had to deal with an evolving interface. No autopath for quests ('go deal with coordinates by yourself, buster!'), the zoom was not at its max, and many items were still a rarity. I have to thank PWI for correcting those two annoying things btw.

I sure witnessed that change, as I joined PWI just before the genies were introduced, making me a 2nd gen.

Many people complain, but what was the game about when there were no genies, no BH, no packs, etc.?
This is why I work like if it never arrived, and I never regret it.

First Gen as well and loved it, endless grindfest and all.

Still remember the days when any TT gear was considered godlike, we could run straight through west archo on even the crappiest of computers, quest finder would only give you a pop-up with a NPC name and co-ords, zhen parties was some of the best source of EXP during "higher levels" and crashing them was insanely fun, rebirth was still this huge mystery nobody could finish, etc.

Oh ad 12mil misties being considered cheap and thus letting archers enjoy their evasion in PvP. b:chuckle

Dunno which gen i am.. second i guess xD

Every generation has something to complain about. When you had no autopath things were a lot harder to find (for me that is). I wasn't that high lvl yet at that time, but it still was annoying.
These days i find the new bh system annoying. It seems i can't get out of caves lately, which annoys me like hell. I want to do more things than just sitting in a cave whole day.
And most of the squads suck too btw >.<

But when some things get better people always try to find some excuses to complain about something else. So everyone gets to complain xD
