    and what, pray tell is so freaking wrong with wearing a PWI t-shirt out in public? I am one of the winners in the first t-shirt giveaway they did a year and a half ago or so. I've rocked that shirt out in public many times, shopping, movies, you name it. unfortunately, i can't wear it anymore because my ex didn't wash it correctly and the logo is starting to peel off.

    and if you're so ashamed to be a gamer that you don't want your friends to know, find a new hobby

    Nothing is wrong with being a gamer. The fact that you mix ONLINE gaming with REAL LIFE. That's where it becomes sad. :/

    University of Colorado - Boulder, but I also saw it done at UW - Madison.

    "Free" t-shirt, "free" Subway gift card, "free" pizza, all for the low price of one credit card application.. taking advantage of the unsuspecting college kids, myself included at the time (I couldn't resist the free subway sandwich, and spent the next 6 months trying to cancel the credit card).

    You always act like you're so above it all, yet you constantly jump down into the forums and flame needlessly.

    Oh, and it's not "free" if you need to fill out an application for it. :D We have a college fest here in my college's city, you pay $5 to get in (or $2.50 if you brought a friend), but you get a LOAD of free stuff. Then again, I guess you do need to put write down your name & email (but you can easily fake that).

    If your friends are a group of gamers, there's no problem in that. But if your friends aren't gamers and you wear a gamer t-shirt out then a situation like this usually occurs:

    Friend: Oh what's that shirt about? "Perfect World"?
    Me: It's a game I've been playing...
    Friend: Oh.....
    [conversation explodes due to me being embarrassed for choosing to wear that t-shirt out]

    I'd say it's a nice free t-shirt to wear as pajamas though. :D

    how is wearing a t-shirt from a game that i enjoy playing sad? and how, exactly is wearing a t-shirt mixing my in-game life with real life? whats the difference between that and wearing, oh say, one of my ozzy or slipknot shirts out in public? doers that make it sad that i display my musical preferences to the world at large? or is there some logic in there that i missed? or how about my awesome decepticon zip-up hoody? i guess its sad that i'm a fan of the transformers and don't care if people know it. point is that i wore that shirt just like any other shirt. people asked me what perfect world was and i told them, and that i won it in a contest. general response was positive.

    First off, I know you said nothing about facebook. But the fact that this event has something to do with facebook. You said you won your t-shirt in the first t-shirt giveaway event. Yeah, cool, congrats. If I remember right, I believe it was a random giveaway depending on how many "noobs" you helped out with their Call of Duty. That was nice, it didn't "make" you do anything that intervenes with your real life.

    Second, this t-shirt giveaway is having you do something with your facebook profile picture. I'm sorry but I'm not in love with PWi enough to do something like that.
