Breaking weapons and partial repairing

Is there any faster way to break an item than hitting with it (claws) and is there a way to partially repair something? (Let's say they cost 50k to fully repair but I only want them @ 20% durability)

I don't think there is a way, but I guess it doesnt hurt to ask.

Annalyse - Heavens Tear

Set yourself up hitting the invisible object in the first TT room, then let it go overnight. Probably the easiest way to do it.

I can barely get through 2 instances of any sort without breaking my claws, you'll do just fine dear.

Yeah that's what I've been doing. I was looking for a faster approach so I could pretty much break them at will, it still takes quite a while to break them.
