If you are a high level (70+) and think that PVP has become too unbalanced with all the event gear, etc., you may want a break from pking and TW. Merciful is a small (lv2) peaceful faction that has always been committed to the PVE aspects of the game. It is active mainly in the european and east coast timezones, members pretty much fall into the 16-55 age range and everyone is friendly, open-minded and tolerant (as long as you don't want to PK!). Players tend to be skilled rather than rich, happy soloing but ready to squad for the fun PVE instances and events. The most active players are 90+. You don't get nagged to do things and there's no pressure to level, have special gear, etc..
