What skills to level?

Like the title says, i just created a cleric, and after looking at the skills n stuff im a little confused in what to level.
I never was a healer in any other games, and there are more healing skills then i tought, so ...

Im going for a 1 str 1 vit 8 mag every 2 lvls, and am wandering what skills to level to have a good balance between soloing and party.

BTW ... is my damage reduced when i atack while using wings? if so, does it also aply to healing?

    that should tell you what skills to level. It's towards the bottom of the post.

    As for damage reduction: if your hitting a mob on the ground while you're flying, yes it will reduce your danage. You have to be in the same element (air, ground, water) as the mob your attacking. I'm not sure, however, if this also applies to healing.

    also yes, your attack is half when you're flying, but healing is not halved.

    But yes, eventually get Regeneration Aura (BB)...you WILL use it.

    after most basic:
    metal mastery - it ups your magic type attack skills
    purify - when you meet damage over time mobs its time to get it and level to at least 5...

    but why shouldnt i level Blessing of the PureHearted?
    Are the other healing spells better?

    it s situational spell and to use on tanks only, later replaced by Stream of R. heal

    You should upgrade your wellspring skill and Iron hearted and use them before and during battle and you would never die again. It is an amazing skill!!!!

    Not necessarily BETTER....just faster and easier to use. BoP is something that is leveled at higher levels when there are moments when you will use it. It's of a lower priority, that's all; level your basics to max first then worry about BoP.

    The buffs, in case you can't find them, are Vanguard Spirit [I would say one of the highest priority buffs for mainly support], Magic Shell, Celestial Guardian's Seal [lowest priority- it can sit a few levels since it's very costly spirit wise], and Spirit's Gift [awesome since it increases healing power and attack power]. Just in case o-o

    Later, there are the squad hour buffs- eat mana like theres no tomorrow, but time efficient since you don't have to buff each member of your squad individually. That can sit a while also though, in case you don't have the money/ spirit.

    (And, what RedsRose said. ironheart, wellspring, plume shot, cyclone)
