    You unclick the skill and sent the pet to attack.

    What pet are you using here if Eldegroth Marksman you unclick bash and sent it to attack?

    Look at your pet's skills. One has a yellow outline around it (usually the first.) This is the active skill.

    Right click on this skill, to turn it off. Voila! Your pet (assuming it's a ranged pet, cactopod or eldergoth marksman/sharpshooter) will now only attack from range. Note: Since it's using no skills, it will generate very little aggro.

    ok i deselected the defalt skill i.e. the yellow box. I am useing an analope pup, but its not working
    do i "Alt"+1 or left "click" on att button
    should the pet be set on attack, defend, or manuel

    The antelope pup isn't a ranged pet (despite being ranged before it's tamed.) Sorry. Just cactopods and certain eldergoths.
