Coming of Age - can't get it.

So I've been looking at old threads that say the problems of it, but none of them have been able to aid me thusly... so

I'm a level 54 cleric. I got the TB quest right away on my veno and wizard when it came out, but I just recently leveled this character, so I didn't know the coming of age quest was obtainable at level 40

So, I've talked to my elder, went to Goshiki and the pillar, and there's nothing. Did I out level it or was there a glitch? was I supposed to get a system message? I know it gave me a teleport to RT when I started out.

Nevermind. AFter flying back and forth about 5 times, it suddently appeared in the elder's quest list.
