Best Setup PURE damage

So, whats the best setup for a PURE DMG BM for TTing and BHs -- not AOEing

Am i correct to assume fists over blades/axes/polearms ?

Can a pure fist BM outdamage an Assassin?

100 fists + 99 heavy set bonus, Nirvana pants, interval cape, interval tome, 2 rings with high patk (lunar, CoA, PQ, etc..) and highly refined interval fist/claw.

Add the Ashura LA 2 piece neck/belt set for PvP against heavies and if you don't mind gimping your mdef. I personally chose not to.

If the Assassin is pure Dex, no.

fist BM could do more damage then i Assassin if u think about it. Fists/Claws generally hit faster then daggers and with the negative interval that assassins can get a BM would be putting out more damage because he/she is hitting faster. And you cant really say that sins can get the rank gear cause not ALL can, mostly cash shoppers are the ones who get the end game rank, so its a toss up to b honest, depends on the toon and the person with the most money XD

Demon Sin > Demon BM > Sage sin (with fists) > Sage BM > Sage sin (with daggers)

Fists are faster than daggers, daggers hit higher. A Sin can use fists, but not nearly as well as a BM. The amount of speed a BM gets from the extra speed on fists allows them to out damage a sin. This however doesn't become true when both hit the cap, as the fists deal less damage, but attack the same speed. It would take a lot for a sin to out dps a BM in single target. Both classes can deal seriously large damage fast.

So yes, the way I see it, a well equiped fist BM can out damage a well equiped assassin. However a disgustingly amazing equiped BM may have trouble out damaging a disgustingly amazing equiped assassin.

If you can weild fists, you can weild blades/polearms as well. If you give yourself 3 str/level (fists only need 2.5) you can also weild axes as well, and this maximises your damage. So, going all path allows you to deal max damage with fists, and still allow you to pull out other weapons to do fancy-pants BM things.

If by best setup you mean stat placement then 3 str 2 dex is the MOST damage a fist bm can do. And yes Rank 8 demon sin > demon fist bm > demon regular sin.

Don't forget that Rank 6 sage weapon for sins will have -0.05 int.

Go for obscenity, make a fist assassin with all the good gear, use Chill of the Deep, and demon spark attack. Wolf Emblem tossed on for obscene extra measure. They can actually hit 5 APS with +30 ATK lvl and boosted crit damage with all their -int gear equipped. (normal .25 of fister, .15 from chest piece, 50% or less attack reduction after demon spark buff means .15 * 1.5 = .225, which rounds to 5 APS)

So in short they can attack almost as if they had a warsoul weapon, while if we use our warsoul fist weapon, we'd be screwed about. Kinda messed up when you think about it.

Saw a post about someone seeing it from CN version, and looked at the math. Sure enough, they should be able to do this.

Sins can get 5 aps with daggers, which have higher base damage than fists...so right off the bat that increases their damage...then we follow that up with the fact their daggers gain damage from their dex stat...which most sins will have 400-500 of, compared to a bms 300-350 str points of in maxed damage build. The sin also has insane amounts of crit. This all basically means a sin will deal way more damage than a fist bm. Add in their new 79 skill for 66% of the time having +50% weapon damage worth of water as well.

Now as a bm if you want to deal maximum damage you will want to have base dex to with gear mods wield your fists/claws. I usually go with 200 with gear mods included for the extra 1% crit. All other points will be in str. Then use previously suggested gear layouts for max attack speed. Using said setup you will deal an enormous amount of damage; however, to have any decent survivability you will need +8 armor refines or better, since your missing alot of vit.
