ok.. along with an insane amount of "lag" and not being able to use skills, see monsters or NPC's i decided to run all the way to Archosaur annnd right before i get in the city (im going over the bridge in the south outskirts) my game freezes up.. correction.. my whole computer freezes up..

just to let u know what i did before u give me advice:

1. Uninstalled and then Reinstalled the game
2. updated my video Drivers
3. Verified Files after download and patching
4. Turned Off firewall and anti virus

so after doing all this i still have this problem for 3-4 days now.. im still thinking its the 334 patch.. since i was fine with the 332 and then i come on and there is 334.. and nothing works..

so any smart computer people.. any help would be great.. let me know if i need to post any comp info

It'll be helpful to us if you tell us some of your computer's information.

    1) What is the make and model number of your computer?

    2) Please also tell us whether you are running a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows. You can find out in Windows by going here: Start > Control Panel > System & Maintenance > System. Then look under System > System Type. It will then display 32bit Operating System or 64bit Operating System. Include that info with the info we ask for below.

    3) To create a dxdiag log, go to Start, click on Run, then type in dxdiag and press Enter. Click on Save All Information as a text file (on your Desktop as an example.
If you are using Vista or 7, go to the Start Menu, click on the Search menu and type dxdiag.exe.

    4) Copy and paste the top half of your dxdiag into your forum post (that means 50% of the text). If you have Vista, please take out the (TM) (the trademark symbol) out of the text file, as the forums will cut it off and won't display the rest of the text.

If you have a 64bit system, please click on the 64bit Dxdiag/DirectX button to save the correct log file. This is important so that we can help you find the right software for your system.

We'll take a look at it, and offer our advice (or our super cool and helpful community might beat us to answering things for you).
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

At a glance, I'd say your main problem is that your graphics card falls significantly short of the recommended minimum.

Your current graphics processor is an integrated processor with 16MB of memory, whereas the Download page recommends at least 64MB of video memory. Also, you're barely at the minimum recommended RAM.

Not certain what changes from the latest patch would have made the difference though.

The only recommendation I can make short of buying a new computer is turning down the graphics settings as low as they will go, and seeing if the game will run.

You got the same reply basically in your ticket about your video chipset and CPU not meeting the system requirements.

Also, the system RAM just fits in the minimum requirements.

Please consider upgrading your system to one made in the last 1-3 years with a dedicated 3d video chipset made by nVidia or ATI.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Your PC just dosent have the guts
you could try some cheap fixes try reseating the heat sink with thermal compound, and blowing out trapped dust from the fins on the heat sink, try removing the side pannel of your tower for better airflow the object is to make your system run cool and clean out the fluff inside the pc case, other than that upgrade =)

    Either,
    A) your Computer is way out of date Hardware wise, which i recomend a new biuld if able to, and there really is no way that you can "upgrade" your current rig to play PW better, everything will bottleneck an upgrade, no offense. A "Decent" gaming rig with maybe a dual/triple core with a good video card can be had for about 500$ all new, if your willing to biuld yourself.

    B) as the poster above me mentioned, it COULD be a slight over heating issue.
