Game client crashes whenever I make a TB character

I've been having this issue since the expansion of Rising Tide was released. I immediately wanted to try a new Tideborn race, but everytime I made one and logged in for the first time, my client crashed. I thought it was just a new expansion glitch, so submitted a ticket for the techsupport to resolve, the only thing they were doing was blaming my computer, not their software. First check all things, graphic settings, audio settings, etc. Including an DxDiag.txt logfile. Well, techsupport isn't really working... Especially now the whole submit a ticket page is loading much annoyingly slower then it used to.

However, i found a link to a support page in this forum: https://support.perfectworld.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=15058&task=knowledge&questionID=33 Which explains this problem, and how to resolve it. I already resolved this issue on my Psychic, which is now lvl 61.

But whenever I create a new Tide Born race character, I am at the same spot, and that same spot HAS this problem. So I am actually being loaded in a buggy, crash causing area, when the client is loading the startingspot. As the starting spot; is the crashing spot.

But I wonder what the reason for this problem is. Is it indeed my graphics card, as techsupport suggested? Or is it some buggy gaming environmental problem?

And, maybe a bit too much to ask, will this issue be resolved in the future?


(Post Scriptum: I've found this website always very slow, the homepage and forum. But now the support center is slow as well. I never really looked around at this forum, because the pages are taking minutes to be loaded. Can this be changed as well? I do understand the implications, as webhosting providers, etc.)

I've been trying to get out of the glitchy erea, but still haven't got any success in doing so. Everytime it's finished loading, hold 'W' 'A' 'S' or 'D', try to get the annoying help screen away, it just crashes.

At the moment I've restarted the client 50 times, yes I am counting. But without luck... While my other characters work perfectly.

EDIT 2 HOURS LATER: Still nothing. I'm so frustrated that I want to throw my keyboard away. I think I've restarted my client over 100 times, I lost track of counting around 80 times.

I've sent in multiple tickets over the past six months, since the expansion came. But they always have problems at techsupport, they always lose the DxDiag logfiles, and they always lose the attached screenshots. I just want to have this fixed. I've been busy since 12:00 pm noon (now: 15:56 pm) just to try an assassin.

Please can anyone help me?

This topic can be closed now. I've solved the problem. Probably the install file on the PWI dvd (which you can order from the site) is corrupted, or something. When the Rising Tide expansion came, I had problems with the entire client. Downloading went too slow, so I order a dvd from the site, and installed that one. Which gave the problem I was describing in the starters village of TB.

I've just downloaded almost 6 Gigabytes(have a faster connection now) of the install file, + latest patch, and it now seems to be working perfectly... Pfuuh... But thanks anyway...
